Goldman Sachs CEO Thinks Americans Don’t Work Enough
America is already the hardest working country in the western world, but for Wall Street fat cat Lloyd Blankfein, that’s not enough. Blankfein, 
currently CEO of Goldman Sachs, told CBS News’ Scott Pelley that he believes it’s time to increase the retirement age:
BLANKFEIN: You’re going to have to undoubtedly do something to lower people’s expectations — the entitlements and what people think that they’re going to get, because it’s not going to — they’re not going to get it.
PELLEY: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid?
BLANKFEIN: You can look at history of these things, and Social Security wasn’t devised to be a system that supported you for a 30-year retirement after a 25-year career. … So there will be things that, you know, the retirement age has to be changed, maybe some of the benefits have to be affected, maybe some of the inflation adjustments have to be revised. But in general, entitlements have to be slowed down and contained.
PELLEY: Because we can’t afford them going forward?
BLANKFEIN: Because we can’t afford them.
Problem is, we wouldn’t be in a position to consider budget cuts at all if Goldman Sachs and the rest of the scoundrels on Wall St. hadn’t blew up the economy and then demanded a bailout. So in terms of who we can and cannot afford, it’s safe to say that this country can’t afford Wall St.
Regrettably, no one on Wall St. has been prosecuted for this country’s economic meltdown, so it is likely that we will continue to see them creating disastrous recessions, then, getting invitations from mainstream news outlets to tell the rest of us what we’re doing wrong.
It’s not surprising that Blankfein believes he’s right. That’s his ego, not data, speaking. What is repugnant is that CBS, or anyone else, invites him to speak on anything.

Correct. “No one on Wall St. has been prosecuted for this country’s economic meltdown, so it is likely that we will continue to see them creating disastrous recessions.” King Obama was the biggest recipient of Goldman’s generous campaign donations in 2008, so continuing the bailouts without any prosecutions was the returned favor. Obama talks all of that for the people c**p but he’s in their pockets. They pull the strings. They run the government. They are the government. All you have to do is research Obama’s cabinet appointments and other appointments (Tim Geitner, Larry Summers, Jefferey Immelt) and you’ll see who our precious “brother” is for. It’s a revolving door of corporate elites, ivy league educated, well connected sociopaths whose only concern is the riches and absolute power. The federal reserve bank has transfered over $16 trillion to these banks and corporation since the bailouts began under Bush and continues under our “progressive” savior Obama. Most of us are sleep walking. We’re just so proud to have a black face on this corrupt system. And that was the plan all along. “DON’T SAY NOTHING BAD ABOUT MY OBAMAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!”. Even if it’s true. Sad.
I find it to be a distortion of the facts to try to put all the blame for the financial problems…ECONOMIC CRISIS…etc. of 2007 on Pres. Obama. When he came in office, the entire economy had crashed under the REPUBLICAN REGIME… Bush, Cheney and that bunch. Bush had gotten us into 2 wars (on credit) and he had completely wiped out the huge SURPLUS that Pres. Clinton left. And we must remember that under BUSH…millions of jobs disappeared….went overseas…and were simply lost. ROMNEY helped that process along.
Pres. Obama had to find ways to pull us out of that big crater that Bush left for us. Whether you agree with Obama or not…he did pull our economy back from the brink…and had McCAIN won…we would have gone all the way into a DEPRESSION from which we would probably never have recovered. McCain was another BUSH…and he still is talking the same nonsense. YES…BLAME BUSH.
And we have to WAKE UP to the fact that it is REPUBLICAN POLICY to be against any type of benefits, services, funds, etc. that will help workers….help schools, or in any way benefit those who have to punch a clock in order to earn a living. For years the REPUBLICANS have tried to de-fund or change Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid, Unemployment Insurance, Food Stamps, School lunch programs — and anything like that.
BUT…Republicans will fight to the final battle to HELP THE WEALTHY get more tax breaks, subsidies, and for BIG OIL…COAL and GAS companies to get more opportunities to burn up this planet with all that pollution that oil, coal and gas create.
WHAT???? Don’t work enough? Listen here MR. PART of the ILLUMINATI…I been working siince I was 14 years of age and one of your kind of people TOOK my career from me being the bigot she is and ADMITTING that she set me up with personnel to rid of me. But don’t for one second think that the wealthy democrats in congress have any care for ordinary citizens, or any power over the path this country is taking. He opened the door for the private prison indusrty that makes billions per year off the backs of inmate labor. Did you know that companies have operation set up in prisons making their products? Slave labor for jobs that could be for people on the outside of prison. He increased the war on drugs and made the penalties lop sided. Blacks are the most imprisoned people in every state in this country by ratio, per 100,000 of all groups. h**l, in states where I didn’t think many blacks lived, we still are imprisoned at a higher rate than other groups. IN EVERY STATE!!!! Unbelievable that blacks are the most criminals in every state. Yeah, thank Clinton for his da*mn surplus if you want. And when you go Black Friday shopping, just know that brother Bill brought you those products courtesy of outsourcing.
