Woman Shoots and Beheads the Man Who Raped Her
A woman in Turkey has taught her rapist a lesson that he would probably never forget if he had something to remember it with. The woman, who is pregnant, shot the man who raped her and cut his head off. The woman then left the man’s head in the middle of the village for everyone to see.
The woman is five months pregnant and is asking authorities to let her have an abortion in spite of the fact that she has passed the 10 week limit on abortion procedures. Police arrested her and the woman had little remorse. She said: “That is the head of one who toyed with my honor.”
The incident has become a hotbed of conversation in the women’s rights debate around the world. There are some who praise the woman as a hero and others who see her as a deranged criminal. She is a 26-year old mother of two children and says that she was abused by her attacker for several months before she took matters into her own hands. She also says that she was being blackmailed by him, which apparently caused her to lose it.
The woman said that she is willing to die to get an abortion. The man had taken nude pictures of the woman and threatened to show them to others if she didn’t sleep with him. In response, the woman shot the man ten times, with many of the shots aimed at his g******s. She then cut his head off and threw it into the square.
“He kept saying that he would tell everyone about the rape,” the woman said during her testimony. “Everyone would have insulted my children. Now no one can. I saved my honour.”

I know I shouldn’t say it but that’s a lot better than trying to determine whether the rape is legitimate, having the victim get victimized at trial or taking care of the violent offender while he waits for trial. He sought control by taking advantage of her sexually; she took his head and made sure everyone got the message.

” A few days ago my daughters and I was visiting with family and the man that raped her when she was ten years old walked up behind her, frighten her something terrible. she hadn’t seen him sent before the police got in the picture, she told me “if he come back over this way one more time I am going to take this knife and ramp it throught his neck and some” we soon left the fool kept walking over staring. She is a beautiful well responsible mother now, while he is sick and now frighten a bout what’s coming next.
YOU GO GIRL! I hate any of that happened, but it is good to see a lady stand up for herself in a place where it’s an extreme struggle. I hope she’s seen as a hero to all victims of similar mistreatment.
This is about a muslim culture where women have no rights what soever, if she went to the authorities and told them what happened, the authorities would have laughed in her face and NOTHING would have been done in the name of justice. She had no other recourse but to kill her rapist who was repeating raping her.
What this horrible incident does.. is call to action for Turk women to protest and demand EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER THE LAW!
The woman is one of honor. She did the right thing, her children come first. But I do hope someone talks her out of the abortion for she is too far gone in having one safely.

If the circumstances surrounding this story are true, then the man apparently pushed her beyond her limits. But before we assume this story is true, we have to rule out the possibility that this woman went too far in defending her honor against the photos being published vs her being raped. The story mentions both of these as motives.
While i normally don’t condone such violence,i am totally in agreement in how she handled this situation.He got what he deseved.I hope the legal system in Turkey understands what that woman endured and give her no jail time.She deserves her freedom.

Gatekeeper – I totally agree with you. In Muslim countries if a woman is raped she is the one who is killed. Usually by her father or her brothers in order to “retore honor to the family.” I don’t understand their thinking that by killing the woman, who was raped/abused, that that somehow returns honor to the family? But that is the warped thinking in many of those countries. I love that she took matters into her own hands. Instead of waiting for her family to seek retribution on her, or something else just as drastic like make her marry the rapist (another thing they do in order to restore family honor). She killed him and sent a message to the village and the entire region that woman are no longer going to sit around crying and waiting for their families or the courts to take action. She did what I’m sure most woman who have been raped would love to do – she killed his a*s. It’s too bad that she is too far along in the pregnancy and that she has to carry the rapist baby to term. Under Syriah law, a woman has to produce 5 MALE WITNESSES before she can bring a charge of rape. If she produced 5 MILLION FEMALE WITNESSES that would count for naught.
The report does not say if the woman was Muslim, but it’s a fair bet that she was, given that the majority of Turkish citizens are of the Islam faith. In which case this woman’s actions, perhaps in “western” eyes seeming rather extreme, are more understandable, as she had no recourse under law to right the wrong.
Seems to me that, as a growing awareness brings some light into all the dark corners of their medieval world, the old Imams are going to have to come to terms with the fact that they can no longer expect young Muslim women to placidly accept their required place as non-citizens, and that they (muslim men) are going to have to start treating women as human beings with at least some rights. As more and more muslim women are receiving education beyond the subservience which the muslim faith has previously brainwahed into them, there will inevitably be a growing appreciation that there is actually more to life than blindly accepting their lot as mere chattels to the whims of their men. Of course the men are not going to like it….

The concept of honor among the Muslim faith is strange to the rest of the world.
We have openly invited them to this country and I’ve already heard of a number of killings of a number of young women because they dated young men who were not Muslim.

You may feel for the lady who was raped, you may say the man got what was coming to him, however the woman is going to be killed by the governing Mullahs. That’s the law.

Unless you have been raped before then you don’t know what it’s like to have a man take something from you and then act as if it was nothing! Once they finish attacking you and they get away it makes you feel guilty he got away and then you can not stop thinking of all the should of, could of and whys. Sometimes you have take the law into your own hands and deal with the consequences. It’s better than letting the court takes years to convict. The rapist deserved what he got.
