Fox News Chief Says President Obama is Lazy, and Obama Happens to Agree

Roger Ailes, the boss over at Fox News, likely has some sour grapes toward President Barack Obama.  After all, his team of “highly qualified” analysts totally got it wrong during the last election, when his best people predicted a Mitt Romney landslide win.  So, in light of those conditions, it’s easy to see why Ailes might have some choice words for the president.

Ailes gave strong opinions about many leading political figures during a recent speech, including President Obama, Joe Biden and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.   The conversations came during recorded meetings with his biographer.

The coming book, “Roger Ailes: Off Camera” has excerpts published, during which Ailes threw some nasty slurs at Obama, including calling him “lazy.”

Ailes made his comments in response to a comment by Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen, who stated that Ann Romney had “never worked a day in her life.”

Here’s what Ailes had to say:

“Obama’s the one who never worked a day in his life,” Ailes said. “He never earned a penny that wasn’t public money. How many fund-raisers does he attend every week? How often does he play basketball and golf? I wish I had that kind of time. He’s lazy, but the media won’t report that.”

But to Ailes defense, he did say that President Obama admitted this himself.

“I didn’t come up with that. Obama said that, to Barbara Walters,” Ailes told his biographer.

During an interview with ABC, Obama was asked about “the trait you most deplore in yourself.”

“Laziness,” the president said.  He then went on to say that, “there is a deep down, underneath all the work that I do, I think there’s a laziness in me. It’s probably from, you know, growing up in Hawaii and it’s sunny outside, and sitting on the beach.”

If the President prevents the country from going into bankruptcy before the end of this 2nd term I’ll say he has been busy and has accomplished a lot.

Other wise I’m going to agree with Ailes and say President Obama has been sitting on his behind for 8 years.!

Not even his healthcare plan is close to being as important as lowering the debt. Lets hope he pays attention to this concern.

When Mr. Obama became president most of the right-wing (GOP) rednecks began suffering severe attacks of racist apoplexy — being totally unable to accept the idea of a non-white as president. The greatest advantage of this phenomenon is that all us normal folks can now easily identify the racist rednecks amongst us who’ve been hiding in the shadows all this time.

Lazy, dumb, incompetent, and cruel were voted out of the White House in 2008. Obviously, the economy is trying to recover…as the stock market has doubled what it was when BUSH left.

For Roger Ailes to complain about Pres. Obama is such “racial dog whistle” language is outrageous. We know… “all the slaves were lazy too…” RIGHT??? That’s how this nation was built so well and got so rich…those “lazy b**t black slaves.” Ailes and his buddies need to STFU.

While the clown car at FOX NOISE keeps up this mess about the “debt”…. we have a bigger threat facing us…. it’s CLIMATE CHANGE. We are on the edge of major devastation.
If you doubt it…just watch the Weather Channel.

Intelligent people know that the president is not “lazy” lazy. He is simply saying that , although he works very hard, he would like to lie around a little. We all would like to lie around, but most of us don’t. Roger Racist Ailes should be ashamed of what he said, but people like him know no shame. The first few commenters are exactly right. LAZY to the max left the White House in 2008. President Obama is perhaps the hardest working president we have ever had. He deserves to play more basketball and golf so that he can relax. Is there anyone out there who does not know that you work harder when you use your mind than you do when you dig a ditch? President Obama needs to relieve stress. President George W. Bush didn’t appear to have any stress, since he did not run this government; d**k Cheney did. How much stress could you have when you take a 187-day break at the beginning of your first term?

I wrote the professional name of the former vice president Cheney. It is not a dirty word; rather, it is short for “Richard.” There is no need for asterisks. The use of asterisks indicates a narrow mind regarding this and other good, clean words.

    Regarding Roger Ailes’ comments:
    1) Consider the source
    2) Why dignify his comments with a response
    3) Why are we wasting our time commenting and reading his foolishness?

Ailes is what he is and is what he will always be..
A distinguished wealthy older white man stated on a major network evening television show:

“Old white men are now in the minority, we know it, and we are running scared.”

Ailes fits that category and he is running scared…He knows “what goes around comes around” or as stated in the Scripture, in part: “That bread that you cast on the water…

Roger Ailes grew up watching white men killing black men, women, and children and the lynchings and burnings of black people inspired him as a fan of the Klan to bring this news to America, which was viewed as sensational news then.
