Petition Calls for Investigation Into Chris Dorner’s Death and LAPD Corruption
Whether or not you agree with how Christopher Dorner handled his frustrations with the LAPD, you must believe that there is some need to look into the actions of the Los Angeles Police Department. In their efforts to find Chris Dorner, some believe that they chose to execute him on the spot rather than allow him to stand trial for his crimes. Why did the LAPD want Dorner dead? Did they burn that cabin on purpose? Why did an old woman get shot several times for riding in a truck that looked like Dorners, without police even appearing to try to get her to surrender?
Those are questions that need to be answered, and a petition is calling for this. The petition does not support the violence allegedly committed by Dorner, but calls for an equal amount of scrutiny on the LAPD for its actions, as well as an investigation into the statements Dorner made about departmental activities in his manifesto.

The Los Angeles Police Department has, for far too long, served as judge, jury and executioner in too many situations. Rather than seeking justice and allowing the courts to determine guilt or innocence, this police department has often positioned itself as a well-organized street gang, terrorizing and even killing scores of innocent citizens.
The latest civil rights violation by this department was during the apprehension of Christopher Dorner. We are not in agreement with the crimes Dorner allegedly committed before his death, but equally egregious was the decision by the LAPD to try to kill Dorner before he had any opportunity to stand trial. We believe that the premature, on-sight execution of Christopher Dorner was done in order to suppress evidence of police corruption that Dorner was determined to release to the public. While the LAPD consistently denies that it deliberately burned Dorner alive, there is sufficient audio evidence that suggests otherwise.

Chris Dorner was not going to be able to stand a fair trail alive anyway. He killed some people and it was not the way to tackle this deal with the LAPD. I really did not want to see him stand trail for someone was going to get him inside and it would have been made to look like an accident. He had some responsibility in this and he knew where it was going to end. It is sad for noone won. His Parents & any of his loved ones had to have been devastated watching this incident on tv.
I think like Dr. Watkins he became obsessed with the entire deal and it caused him to snap.
We need to keep Chris in our prayers and realize that mental illness is out there and something needs to be done about it. These guns that the NRA are pushing out there just so that they can make money is the real cause of all of this. If you do not have a gun you cannot do this kind of harm.

This just reminded me of the “slavery” episodes that occurred back in the day; and being that this is Black History Month, it really is a message in that whole scenario. Wake up!
Where were all his supporters when he was on the run? That’s when the protestors should have been out. But no, Blacks (gangs) were busy shooting each other……another sickness. Black psychologists were writing about it; but who offered to listen to him express his repressed anger?

I agree with this petition 100%, in fact I was going to start one myself!! I don’t condone murder..but for this man to commit such an act to draw attention to his case..even willing and knowing that he would lose his life is the act of not just a deperate man..but a rightious one. Before reading his manifesto, one immediately thinks he’s a disgrunted worker..pulling a “postal”..thinking he is some sort of psycho “robo” cop killer on a revenge killing spree..but once you read it, you realize that this is a sane man pushed to the point of desparation..wanting only to clear his mind. Yes, he may be a “grip collector” or whatever the term the psychiatrist used on TV in heir attempt to demonize him…but, clearly he is not crazy!!
The former NYC police commissioner when asked how should Christoper Dorner be remembered in history..he responded by saying he should be remembered as a murderer…well, if you want to start that c**p…then you better add to the list the LAPD officer who shot those two hispanic women, one who was 71 years old!! The LAPDs claimed that they mistook them for Christopher Dorner?!!
After reading Dorner’s manifesto I was reminded of the 1970s movie “And Justice For All”..particularly the part when Al Pacine was presenting his summary if the case in court, he said something to the effect, and I paraphrase “…I asked myself, why would she say these things? why would she put herself in this position when she basically can’t win, going up against this promenent judge..why??..because she IS NOT LYING!!”
I emphasize with Dorner in the respect of his want for Justice, But I am appalled at at the alleged murders he committed. I,too, have been the recipient of unwarranted and unlawful police aggression, sustaining two broken ribs and a number of other less serious injury. I have no record yet was followed by these officers for 12 twelve blocks before pulling me over. Wasn’t intoxicated, wasn’t in pursuit of anything illegal; just cruising after visiting a friend. I filed a report against these officers with hospital documentation. After six months the Chief of Police said my allegations were unsustained. His reason, everyone had a different story. Had to accept that decision so as not to continue to stress myself further, I’m 59 yrs old with heart problems; But I wonder, “how could those dirty white cops’ story be different unless they had tried to collaborate on a lie?” I didn’t leave my friend’s house with broken ribs…Duhh?
The killing machines in LA (LAPD & the Sheriffs Dept) must be put to an end. It’s time for real policemen and sheriffs to take over…take the guns away from murderers with badges.
I think it’s a shame and pity what this society has become. I believe something awful happended to cause this man to take the lives of other people in the way in which he did. Are the cops wicked yes? Most of them are. I believe a very small portion are good. We must remember the word of God says he will right every evil thing done wrong.
