Marco Rubio Says Obama’s Immigration Plan is “Dead on Arrival”
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said Saturday that President Obama’s immigration plan will be “dead on arrival” on Capitol Hill if it looks like the proposal reported by USA Today.
“If actually proposed, the president’s bill would be dead on arrival in Congress, leaving us with unsecured borders and a broken legal immigration system for years to come,” said Rubio, who’s seen as a key figure in pushing a bipartisan immigration bill through the Senate.
A White House spokesman told POLITICO earlier Saturday that the administration continues to support a bipartisan plan from the Hill and has not produced a final bill to send to Congress. But Rubio’s statement is combative, accusing Obama of releasing a proposal without getting Republican input.
“It’s a mistake for the White House to draft immigration legislation without seeking input from Republican members of Congress,” Rubio said.

I agree, the proposal is not written well at all.
First of all the President does not nor does anyone else know how many Illegals are in the country. in 1986 they thought only 1 million were in the country Illegally, it turn out to be 3.4 million! They were all give amnesty anyway!
Additionally I disagree with the Presidents open door policy as it relates to Illegals! If he, the President is going to allow people to freely enter the country, it should be a controlled entry and they should have something to offer other than strawberry picking.
All of you low information blacks should know the jobs they take will be the jobs you should have, rather than the 12 million they talk about, think 20-25 million !
16% black unemployment and 37% black teen unemployment makes be believe the President is doing things for his place in history rather than helping America in the here and now.
Do you still think the President is great! Do you still think he is working on your behalf? Who is going to pay for all of the Presidents proposals anyway?
I thought Rubio was Latino. Does he want Latino burned so he can live happily with White rich Republicans? Rubio is a hypocrite like Herman Cain or Allen West. They want people of their tribe killed by people who have no soul. Rubio like Herman Cain is done as politician.
Marco Rubio is just another puppet for the GOP. They seem to think that all they have to do is put up some “brown face” to represent them….and they will pull votes from other “brown faces.”
Plus, the immigration proposal that was leaked was not finished …and was more like an outline. Most of what was in it has been discussed by both parties in the past. So Rubio was just parroting the talking points from his TEA PARTY supporters…that is…. GO AGAINST ANYTHING OBAMA SAYS.
To show us how utter ignorant Rubio is…he made another statement in his rebuttal == “The Government cannot control the weather…” This is right out of ROMNEY’s Soap Opera script.
Once again they are trying to demean the problem of CLIMATE CHANGE…because they are in the pocket of BIG OIL and other billionaire polluters.
BLACK PEOPLE and other so-called minority groups (Latinos) get hit the hardest by these wild weather disasters….like HURRICANE KATRINA. Rubio comes from Cuba, which is an island that will go under along with most of the Florida coast…as the ice caps keep melting and the sea level keeps rising. But RUBIO chooses to be a PARROT for the nincompoops.
Scientists have been warning us about the dangers of global warming at least since the days of Pres. J. F. Kennedy. And they try to demean any other forms of clean ‘green’ fuel…like ALGAE or SUGAR CANE.
But the gas scam is even worse than this….WE CAN RUN OUR VEHICLE ON FUEL MADE FROM GARBAGE. There are companies doing that now. It is cheaper, cleaner…and helps get rid of the trash dumps.
Back when there was a lot of controversy of “SMOKING CAUSING CANCER” …there were people who argued in favor of cigarettes and kept on smoking until their lungs collapsed into a black pit of tar. There are some people who simply want to argue. They don’t want to hear any facts…and will suck up any of the nonsense coming from FOX NEWS, Republicans, Tea Party fanatics like RAND PAUL, or Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity or any of the oil millionaires’ puppets.
