Commentator Speaks Against Boy Scouts Response to Gay Troop Leaders

The Boy Scouts of America have been at the forefront of the media lately. A proposed ban is in motion to ban troops from having gay scout leaders. There is also a motion that is proposing that gay leaders will be allowed, but people who are not comfortable with it are allowed to create their own groups. People proposing the ban are afraid that gay equals child molester. It is a sad world when people equate the two as they are nothing alike. One legal analyst is standing up for what she believes is right.

Legal expert Sunny Hostin is adamant that if we let groups go their separate ways if they are not comfortable with have a gay scout leader, we are giving them the freedom to discriminate at will. The ban on gay scout leaders is discrimination, plain and simple. But if they were allowed to lead and others could form a new group because they don’t like it that is forming discrimination too. It seems like forming a new clique in high school.

Hostin states that the ban is ridiculous because it is allowing closed-minded people to win and is not teach others good morals. She brings up the point that in history they said that it was a sin against nature for interracial couples to marry, but the world didn’t end so far. She said they call it a sin to marry the same s*x, but that has been happening quite often lately, and again, the sky is not falling. So what is to say that everything would be ruined if gay men are allowed to lead troops in the Scouts?

In this day and age you would think that lawmakers would want peace, but when they side with religious groups and try to tell people what is a sin or what is moral and immoral, all it stirs up are fights and arguments.

What kind of Law School or better yet reality is this woman dealing with? First the Boy Scouts are a private organization. Not funded or under any restrictions like State run institutions. I might not agree with them but in a Free Society, no one gets to tell you who you can and cannot invite to your party. You have just as much right without any explanation as telling someone wearing a yellow shirt they can’t come over as they do telling openly Gay people they can’t join. The Boy Scouts was part of a religious foundation anyway. Regardless of taking homosexuality off the list of mental disorders in 1972. It’s still in the Bible as wrong. As much as I know my Black people love having it both ways especially with all the contradictions of the Book. Also the reality is that child predators love putting themselves in positions around children. Just because the government has taken being gay off of the same list as being a pedophile doesn’t mean the Boy Scouts have. Why is it in our society the first ones crying over admitting everyone into the group is always some Sister? I don’t agree with the Scouts. But if i had that much of a problem with them I would start my own Boy Scouts instead of trying to force some private group to adopt my ethics. This is some statist government is your Daddy type of mentality that I hate. No woman; you don’t get to tell private social goups who they can admit to their institutions. You don’t get to force other people what to think or to feel about you. If you don’t meet their requirements, it’s their loss of your skills and what you bring to the table. What exactly do you win by wanting to join a group of people that don’t like or want you? If you don’t like it, don’t join. Or like I wrote start your own. Or is the argument this woman has really, ‘I’m lazy and don’t want to start my own, so let me shame you into liking or accepting something you don’t like since you already have one in place.’ That don’t make any sense lady. What kind of sociopath would want some gay person to join a group of people who are disgusted by them anyway?

So how do you tell if someone is gay!

    Is it in their speech?

Is it the way they carry them selves?

Is it when they try to hit on you?

They say they’re just like everyone else

Ok if I can’t tell you’re gay, I’m ok with you.

If I can tell then you’re different!

The incursion of the Pink Swastika. Separate but equal is the safest route. There is loads of money in the Gay Community. There is a strong precedence for initiating their own scouting organizations. Thereby they can prove the excellence of the character building inherent in the Gay Community. Swimming upstream is not necessary in this case. Winning by intimidation is not warranted here.
