How the Government Poisoned Liquor During Prohibition, Killing Thousands
It was Christmas Eve 1926, the streets aglitter with snow and lights, when the man afraid of Santa Claus stumbled into the emergency room at New York City’s Bellevue Hospital. He was flushed, gasping with fear: Santa Claus, he kept telling the nurses, was just behind him, wielding a baseball bat.
Before hospital staff realized how sick he was—the alcohol-induced hallucination was just a symptom—the man died. So did another holiday partygoer. And another. As dusk fell on Christmas, the hospital staff tallied up more than 60 people made desperately ill by alcohol and eight dead from it. Within the next two days, yet another 23 people died in the city from celebrating the season.
Doctors were accustomed to alcohol poisoning by then, the routine of life in the Prohibition era. The bootlegged whiskies and so-called gins often made people sick. The liquor produced in hidden stills frequently came tainted with metals and other impurities. But this outbreak was bizarrely different. The deaths, as investigators would shortly realize, came courtesy of the U.S. government.
Frustrated that people continued to consume so much alcohol even after it was banned, federal officials had decided to try a different kind of enforcement. They ordered the poisoning of industrial alcohols manufactured in the United States, products regularly stolen by bootleggers and resold as drinkable spirits. The idea was to scare people into giving up illicit drinking. Instead, by the time Prohibition ended in 1933, the federal poisoning program, by some estimates, had killed at least 10,000 people.

Yes, there was a time when the Gov’t did a lot of underhanded things such as poisoning liquor. We should stay away from it as much as possible anyway. Liquor and drugs have been wrecking our Black communities for many years.
There are many other folks who are putting c**p in our food and drinks…and some are GENETICALLY MODIFYING THE FOOD. But many of us sit back and just say nothing…let it go on and on.
When it comes to the destruction of the ECO-SYSTEM, folks either ignore the issue…or they pretend that there is some “secret Gov’t program” that is doing it…based on what the goons at FOX NEWS SAY.
And then there are others…like BIG OIL and COAL companies that are polluting the air on a daily basis.
Van Jones is also an “environmentalist” who promotes GREEN ENERGY. Check out the NAACP’s report on pollution and how it effects people of color — those who live in the inner cities, etc.

Alcohol is the BIGGEST DRUG on the planet!!! It kills more people than ALL drugs combined!!!
Approximately 2.5 million people die each year!!! Alcohol causes nearly 4 percent of deaths worldwide, more than AIDS, tuberculosis or violence.
Liquor is the white’ boy’s choice of ‘champagne’ drugs’. This is why it is legal today.
You mention the ECO-SYSTEM all the time, but what you must OVERstand, is that these caucasoids are polluting the land, sea and air so animals can’t survive. That oil spill messed up the water enviroment, these caucasoids are burning up the trees (these fires are man-made), so the trees can’t produce oxygen to clean the air. They are making these dis-eases, and spreading them from their labs, such as AIDS, which was man-made in a lab by mad white scientist at Fort Dietrick. THESE ARE FACTS!!! If you want them, I can post them for you.
The inner city is the most polluted area in ALL cities. Remember, most of the factories were built in the inner cities back in the day. All of that pollution has left its toll on Black people. This is why cancer is running rampant because of those chemi(kills) that were coming from the air, and most of those factories did not have ventiliation; therefore, the men were sucking in all that poison.
WE NEED A VOICE, SO OUR PEOPLE CAN BECOME AWARE, HOW THE GOVERNMENT IS KILLING US, NOT ONLY WITH GUNS, BUT WITH POLLUTING THE AIR, LAND AND SEA!!!
You don’t need to post anything about your claims about how “caucasoids” are causing every problem on Earth. It is just not true… Derrick …you are heavily vested in “conspiracy theories”….many of which are unproven…or have no scientific proof to back it up. There is a such thing as SCIENCE…and 99% of the world’s scientists have backed up, researched and studied this issue of GLOBAL WARMING.

Some folks have claimed that the head of the EPA is quitting due to some “racial issue” with Pres. Obama. However, that is not what she says. There is nothing that supports that claim about “race” or related problems. She is apparently very concerned about GLOBAL WARMING…as it is caused by burning fossil fuels and other acts of destruction *(polluting the air & water, destroying rainforests, oil spills, etc.) to our ecosystem.

That is not what you said the first time. You said it was some “Caucasoids” who were setting the fires. This is where you are just off-base. A few fires were set…but many of them were caused by the DROUGHT.
Africa has been hit very bad by this…and many farmers have been put out of business. No “caucasoid” was over there setting fires. And you have not mentioned this real THREAT to our people or the planet. You don’t know.
