Former GOP Gov. to Christians: Vote For Obama and Face the Fires of H**l

It is awful to watch Republicans cherry pick sins. Take for instance former GOP governor Mike Huckabee, who, for years, had absolutely no problem with the sin of gluttony. He’s not fat anymore, and kudos to him, but who is he to start throwing stones?

In a new ad, Huckabee advises Christians to cast aside issues that don’t matter, like the economy and taxes, in favor of issues that matter most – like government overreach:

Many issues are at stake, but some issues are not negotiable: The right to life from conception to natural death. Marriage should be reinforced, not redefined. It is an egregious violation of our cherished principle of religious liberty for the government to force the Church to buy the kind of insurance that leads to the taking of innocent human life.

Your vote will affect the future and be recorded in eternity. Will you vote the values that will stand the test of fire? This is Mike Huckabee asking you to join me November 6th and vote based on values that will stand the test of fire.

What is amazing about Republicans is how rarely they discuss issues that Jesus actually cared about. Jesus spent a good deal of time talking about the poor, but Republicans like Huckabee rarely mention the poor, or put forth strategies to aid the poor during this economic downturn.
You’d think at some point, conservatives would stop buying into the idea that everything that is wrong with America can be laid at the feet of President Obama. At some point, you’d think they’d turn inward. Playing the blame game is much easier, I guess.

HUCKABEE has gone into PSYCHO-LAND with the rest of the rightwing nuts…like Glenn Beck, Hannity, and Mitt Romney. They use the BIBLE to rationalize their nutty ideas…to attack the President (who is a Christian)…and to deny almost anything scientific. Some of his cronies even think that “rape is a gift from God… or God’s will…” JUST CRAZY.

And others are now claiming that the monster storm “SANDY” was sent by God as a punishment to Gay people. Years ago they also rationalized SLAVERY with their nutty Bible thumping ideas.

Huckabee needs to go get some professional therapy.

Why are y’all so surprised that the Mormons believe that God was once a man and then he became God? Traditional Christians believe Jesus is God and became a man. Y’all are saying the same foolishness but just trying to figure out which came first the chicken or the egg.
Know that God is One and it doesn’t befits His Majesty to become man or to have a son. God’s will will be done from heaven by Him just saying Be.

Now Republicans are the Landlords of hell seeking company at their annual winnie/marshmellow roast. First they tell you how to be black. Now the truth is maybe they are the majority owners in hell.

@Mz what is the different between this election year and 2008 when Sarah Palin tried to start a roit?. All of this crap is the GOP are very jealous of president Obama, and when they say something real stupid they want the Democrats to respond.

Black people can bring the white man to his knees if they did the following and then maybe blacks can be elevated to a much higher status.

    1) Give up smoking
    2) Give up alcohol
    3) Give up pork
    4) Give up black on black crime
    5) Give up the white man’s religion aka his version of god and jesus

Regina, I totally agree with you. However, I don’t think enough black people have the discipline or desire to do those things. smh.

The GOP has a diverse Krop of Kristians, and they quote whatever tenet, from whichever “Kult” suits their Kase at the time.

They blithely ignore the fact that some of these Kults (e.g. Mitch’s Mormon Kolleagues) embrace beliefs which specifically oppose the base beliefs of mainstream Kristianity. (i.e that Jesus was a human being who attained deity through his works, a kind of Bhuddist Nirvana Koncept surely?)

MiKe HucKabbee has just reinforced his innate bigotry, and is claiming to be speaking for God, a sure sign of mental illness.

If we truly believe in God, then we should not chastise or mock such people as Mr. HucKabbe, but rather pray that they can make a full recovery from their sad affliKtion.

Huckabee should be ashamed to call himself a christian. Maybe with his racist views he should consider that he could be the one going to “hell”.

The state collects taxes in Germany and pays the church. If you do not pay your taxes you can be excommunicated. The church is heavily involved in our politics and our legislatures. The religious sector is married to the political regimes around the world. This is spiritual adultry. The political systems of this world are engendered by The Prince and power of the air. None of these systems are the form of government that God implements Himself. When the religious sector joins the fray by begoming a part of Satan’s free for all they become his agents in bringing about chaos. Remember that most of the ministers out there are of the religious system that sprang from Baal worship. They are the enemies of God and are of the Synagogue of Satan. They have a form of godliness but do not
walk in the spirit and power of The Almighty Himself. Their source of power is from The Destroyer. To threaten people with hell fire is to attempt to pervert judgement that can only come from God. He is attempting to usurp God in the minds of the people by inducing fear. You cannot execute judgement unless you are immortal and incapable of sinning. Mankind can only reach this state through Christ and the whole process takes a lot of praying to God the Father in Christs name. Politicians who presumptuously attempt to wrest Judgement from God should repent lest they dance in the flames themselves. Because they say that they see their sin remains. The wages of sin is death. So it has been written and it will be done. Be warned, be wise and be creators and not destroyers.

Do not fear Mike Huckabee. He does not have enough standing with God to throw holy Molatov cocktails. The real issue in this election is whether or not the elite will gain control over the masses.
Religion does not matter. They all worship money from the pulpits to the halls of government. This is idolatry. It is a form of having another god before The God who created the universe. It makes The FED chairman high priest in a false religion that will fail. Pseudo-righteous religious leaders can morph into anything that they deem to be expedient. But they deny God by practicing institutionalized sin with tax exempt status.

Current and former elected officials from my native state continue to bring me shame…. First, there was the elected official who saw slavery as the best thing to happen to African Amercans living in the USA. Next, we had to listen to the Arkansas elected official who stated that bad children should be killed (interpreted by some as meaning black children). Now, we have former AR Governor Mike Huckabee saying a vote for Obama dooms us all to hell. Is there something in the AR water, or did someone slip crack in their food? I don’t dislike Gov Roomney, but his religion does not believe in Jesus the Christ. I Love my state, but it appears that we are returning to days of Jim Crow…..

It is called Hatred. It is a sickness…they cannot help themselves with that sickness. Myth Romney fills entitled to be The President. His entire posture proves it. When Myth Romney is in front of people watch his body language. Donald Trump was only sent out to take the attention off of Myth when he called the stupid press conference.

Racism is a mental illness that so many Republicans suffer from. As a white man, I am ashamed and horrified by the actions and ignorance of the race that I was born into. Please stay safe and take extra care at this very important time in yours and America’s history.

I find myself wondering if the #666 is not on the heads of certain republicans. I don’t believe in abortion for me, never have, but who am I to stand in judgment of others, that is between our Father up above and that individual. I cannot believe he had the nerve to allow these words to come out of his mouth. This man has no idea what entails a Christian or he would not be standing in judgment of others. Be careful Huckabee!

Not surprized, the EXTREME religious right of this land, these are the very ones jesus were against and told them so and why ans also told belivers after the resurrection how to spot these hypocrites, and if you look at what jesus did, he was the biggest socialist this earth has ever known which changed this world forever.

So these extreme religious modern day hypocrites can say whatever they want out of desperation.

I agree w/ the authors view point entirely. It’s sad to say, but neither side is defending the poor @ this point. Every things is about job/slavery, rather than doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Most private business and companies that exist are owned by white America, so it waasn’t Obama that caused this problem. The business owners deliberately laid off many, many blacks, and poor for all that matters to make Obama look bad. Isn’t it sad how evil some people can be just to get unjustice revenge?

Today Rev. J. Lawrey; He gave the prayer at President Obama’s swearing in, said all White people are going to Hell!

After reading the comments one would conclude we are as racist as everyone else.

The problem is we don’t know that we are racist,we only notice when it comes our way, not so much when were dishing it out.
