Wait, What? Obama Now Leads Among NASCAR Fans?
You know Romney’s campaign is officially in trouble when Obama takes a lead among the redneck contingent of voters, better known as NASCAR
fans.
The first lady and Jill Biden (wife of Vice President Joe Biden) were booed at the NASCAR Sprint Cup finale in November of 2011, but it seems that things have changed a bit since then. NASCAR fans may not like President Obama, but they appear to like Willard Mitt Romney even less, at least that’s the takeaway from a recent Zogby poll that has Obama leading Romney among NASCAR fans.
The poll revealed that President Obama has a seven point lead over Mitt Romney among likely voters, 48%-41%. But most surprisingly, among voters who shop at Wal-Mart on a weekly basis, Romney’s lead is within the poll’s 3.4% margin of error, 45%-42%.
Obama also leads with voters who have a family member in the military, 54%-39%. And it keeps getting worse for the Romney campaign since Obama only trails Romney by seven points among voters who consider themselves born again Christians, 40%-47%. Obama even leads with NASCAR fans, 48%-41%.
I wouldn’t go so far as to say that the wheels have totally fallen off the Romney campaign, but it’s getting there. It seems that NASCAR fans would much rather a Democrat in the White House than an elite fat cat. Not everyone out there sipping on Bud Light while watching cars crash into one another is as stupid as they look. Some of them are onto Mitt Romney, and they’re not buying what he’s selling.

You have to be kidding me! If this stands till the election, Romney will get landslided in November.
This is how you know you have lost when people who are given vote say, “Yeah…I’m good! I’m voting for the (insert epithet)!
