Unhinged: Pat Robertson Says Democrats Are the Party of “Gays, Godless, and Whatever Else”
The ascent of Barack Obama to the Presidency of the United States of America has done more to trigger the derangement of right wingers than anything in
recent memory. Although televangelist Pat Robertson was already near the edge, blaming gays for hurricanes and other such nonsense, it’s probably safe to say that he’s finally crossed over the crazy threshold.
On his 700 Club show, Robertson said “gays, godlessness, and whatever else” are what the Democratic Party stands for. He continued, asserting that Democrats are “going after God,” as if to say Democratic principles, such as support for a living wage and health care for all, are anti-God.
But those who are familiar with Robertson know his sordid history of smuggling African blood diamonds.
ABC News reported on Robertson’s connection with diamond and gold trafficking in Liberia back in 2010:
The controversial pastor and former Republican presidential contender met with then-President George W. Bush on Taylor’s behalf, prosecutors charged during cross-examination of Taylor in a Dutch courtroom, allegedly in return for a contract to mine gold in southeast Liberia — a contract they say that Taylor had no legal right to grant.
Lead Prosecutor Brenda Hollis questioned Taylor about how he may have skirted the Liberian legislature in order to get Robertson his gold mining contracts.
Robertson’s company was called Freedom Gold, Ltd and Robertson made millions from the deal he cut with Liberian President Charles Taylor.
Robertson was willing to go into business with a murderous dictator, but now he pretends to care about the sanctity of life? How, exactly, does that brand of Christianity work?

The truth hurts! Anything goes with this Democratic party it seems like. Nobody wants to enforce the laws and as a result this country is over populating, anybody comes across the borders and nothing is done, evil people are becoming more and more prevalent, people call evil good and good evil!!!
