Texas Republican Lynches Empty Chair of Obama
Remember the Clint Eastwood fiasco at the GOP convention? Where Eastwood had an on stage conversation with an empty chair that supposedly had an
invisible President Obama sitting in it? Well, a Texas Republican has taken that skit a step further, by lynching an invisible Obama in a chair.
In the despicably sick display, homeowner Bud Johnson has a “lynched” empty chair on display in his front yard to depict President Obama.
When asked about his front yard display, Johnson was unapologetic.
“I don’t really give a d**n whether it disturbs you or not,” Johnson told Burnt Orange Report. “You can take [your concerns] and go straight to h**l and take Obama with you. I don’t give a s**t. If you don’t like it, don’t come down my street.”
Lynchings, executions carried out by hanging, usually by white mobs, were used to terrorize African-Americans after the Civil War.
President Obama has faced racist backlash to his presidency since taking office. At a GOP Convention in Montana, birthers put on a nasty display to demonstrate their disdain for President Obama by setting up an outhouse labeled “Obama’s Presidential Library”.
A photo of an anti-Obama bumper sticker, labelled “Don’t Re-Nig In 2012,” above smaller print that read, “Stop repeat offenders. Don’t re-elect Obama!” went viral in March.
In addition, President Obama has also been referenced as a tar baby and un-American, which many consider code speak for “not one of us” because he’s black.

What an idiot- that coming from a white Republican. While I can, at times, be frustrated with what I believe to be unfounded accusations of racism on this site, there’s no doubt this man is both racist and ignorant. Here’s to hoping his district passes him over. While one can disagree on substance, there is no place for this!

This is very sad. Ut upsets me that there is so much unrest and i feel that obama has suceeded in dividing we the people. He forgets hes half white. This is not a white /black issue. If it is divided, it is because whites cannot stand that a Black man is the POTUS. And if u think that Obama has had a sufficient chance to change things, you need to think again. Isn’t this considered a terroristic threat against the President? If it was done to a white president, this would not be stood for, all of the news media, pundits and everyone else would be calling for this man to be arrested. I understand free speech but this looks like a threat. The reason these people are so upset with President Obama is because he played their game and WON and they can’t stand that fact. You know they have dug under every rock, nook, crevice and cranny to find something on him and when that didn’t work, they went after his Attny General all to no avail. It is killing them that they have a Black Man as President of these United States. It also shows that we haven’t come as far as we think we have.
