Paul Ryan Gets Booed by AARP Audience For Vowing to Repeal Obamacare [Video]

It seems that Obamacare is more popular than Republicans ever realized. First Mitt Romney was booed while vowing to repeal Obamacare at the NAACP convention, then on Friday, vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan was booed at the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) for the same offense.

When Ryan said he would protect Medicare by repealing Obamacare, the crowd exploded with boos. Some in the crowd called Ryan a “liar” and told him to “go home.”

Ryan attempted to cut the tension by saying, “I had a feeling there would be mixed reactions,” but the damage was already done.

Mitt Romney’s vice presidential pick pushed forward, saying that Obamacare ”weakens Medicare for today’s seniors and puts it at risk for the next generation,” which was received with even more booing from the crowd.

“You may not have heard this side of the story,” said Ryan “The law turned Medicare into a piggybank for Obamacare.”

“You don’t have to take my word for it,” Ryan said. “Ask the chief actuary for the center for Medicare and Medicaid services.”

The problem here is that people view many of the provisions in Obamacare favorably, including the one which removes the cap for lifetime limits on insurance and the one which forbids insurance companies from refusing to cover people with pre-existing conditions. But the other problem Ryan has is that he supports a voucher plan which would gut Medicare, and the crowd knew it.

Ryan is a big stupid White boy with a degree, like his big stupid old rich friend Romney. Ryan is a liar and everyone that can add 1+1 and get 2 knows it! Anytime you have Donald Trump and a Vegas casino owner backing you, it should tell the people a lot. Donald Trump is not conservative and neither is the casino owner. They just don’t want to pay their share of taxes.

Sometimes it pays to listen to what a candiate is saying and how it would affect the whole country. Let them keep talking about repealing Obamacare and see how far they will get. Sometime when you open your mouth and say the wrong things people will know how dumb you are. Keep it up M/P for the America people do know that Obama is to be the President fof all the people.
    Vote Obama for President 2012.

Ryan is only spouting what he and his “boss” believes.
If you don’t like it, then don’t vote for them.
I sense that there are many, many Americans who are looking for an alternative to a further term of Obama presidency, and that they are so, so disappointed by the alternative. The GOP really screwed up in their choice of candidate, but then with alternatives such as Sanatorium and the Grilch, they weren’t exactly spoilt for choice!
