Kansas Republicans to Obama: Show Us Your Birth Certificate or We’re Taking You Off the Ballot
As conservatives scramble to ensure that President Obama doesn’t win reelection, birtherism again takes center stage. 
The New York Times reports:
Kansas election officials on Friday were seeking to obtain a certified copy of President Obama’s birth certificate as they determined whether to allow him to remain on the ballot after a state resident challenged his citizenship, reigniting long-running conspiracy theories that the president was not born in the United States.
The challenge on whether to allow President Obama to remain on the ballot comes from a man named Joe Montgomery who says he doesn’t believe President Obama meets the qualifications to be President of the United States.
Joe Montgomery says he believes the birth certificate offered by President Obama is a fake.
In his letter challenging Obama’s place on the ballot, Montgomery wrote “Mr. Obama has failed to provide any valid, certified documentary evidence to legally establish birth in this country, much less to citizen parents. Further there is substantial evidence showing that much of Mr. Obama’s alleged birth certificates have been forged or doctored, and have not been confirmed as legally valid, true and accurate.”
The Kansas Secretary of State, also head of the Objections Board, said he does not view Montgomery’s challenge as frivolous, and will issue a decision soon, probably on Monday.
The state’s elections director, Brad Bryant, says he needs to see a copy President Obama’s birth certificate in order to make a decision, and when the birth certificate is received, they will “reconvene Monday in the morning to consider that document, put it in the record and then make a decision on whether the name of Barack Obama will be on the ballot.”
Kansas is a largely conservative state, and so the people who will be deciding if President Obama remains on the ballot are mostly Republicans.

For even to have the audacity to do this should have the elections director removed from his post immeidently.This has been a resolved issue for some time now and to have someone In that position to abuse his power should not be taken lightly and the president should deal with this and set a pressidence should this arise again in the future. Whether or not it’s a conservative state or not holds no merit for anyone to remove any candidate who is eligible from the ballot ticket. This harkens back to the Jim Crow days in the south which I thought was over with but apparently there are people who are finding new ways to bring it back.

Did you know that the Louisiana legislature and their Republican governor are trying desperately to figure out a way to circumvent state law and prevent a Black female judge from becoming Chief Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court . . . even AFTER a federal court said ruled that she is entitled to that position?
Hope Louisiana Blacks become mad as h**l . . . and vote . . . and help put that state in Obama’s tally.

This is truly sad, to see so much hate being spewed out, Not only are these Godless people have not an ounce of humility in their bodiies, but they are a people that need prayer and understanding. The sad thing is they their hate and ignorance will eventually destroy them. I sincerely believe we encourage this kind of ignorance and distasteful summation of “OUR PRESIDENT”, by giving people like that a platform to spew this kind of insatiable hate.

What amuses me is the fact the past governor of California was not born in the United States. If this position is to be taken regarding President Obama, shouldn’t it be taken for any elected official? It is actually illegal for a naturalized citizen to become president. However, it is NOT illegal for a naturalized citizen to become governor. This is why Arnold did not have this issue. If his birth certificate came from a different country, but he became a naturalized US citizen, he could be a governor. If Obama’s certificate came from a different country, even if he was a naturalized US citizen, he would not be allowed to be President under current US law.

First off, why should you, man who has made this claim but is probably not in this group and so will never see this comment, personally see Obama’s certificate? Second, if you haven’t seen it, how can you make the claim that particular parts of it are false? Third, what evidence do you have that they’re false? Fourth, if they’re false, why would you need to see it since you know it’s a lie? The lengths people will go to mess with Obama! Seriously?! One files a request application for a copy of ones BC. Office of Vital Statistics prints out copy & give it to u, for a fee of course. I assume Obama secured his copy the same way pretty much.
So what BC is Obama supposed to present to these a**holes?! Anyone with access to a computer can google & see copy of his BC. OK, worst case scenario & for arguments sake, say it’s a forgery. So they’d expect he should show them a different one than what Hawaiian Vital Stat. has on record & already published for all to see?! Geeese!
This is beyond simple audacity, stupidity and cognitive distortion(s). It is a combination of hate, intolerance and racism. Mr. Montgomery says that President Obama failed to provide “certified evidence” or a even has “citizen parents.” It is a matter of record that President Obama mother is Kansan and his father was a legal resident in the United States. Either one, on its own would qualify President Obama as a citizen, especially his mother being born American. This fact alone, his mother’s citizenship, would make him a U.S. citizen even if he were born in Timbuktu! People like Montgomery need to have themselves checked for psychiatric problems because clearly his thinking has no reasonable or legal basis.
It is truly racist and The Republican/Tea Party have shown their hand to that degree. There is so much hatred shown towards this President and so much desperation that they do not know what else to do so they go for anything. Anytime you have any person that is The President of The US, I am sure he has already been checked out so thoroughly that the birth certificate is so small in this game. In order for Kansas remove Obama from the ballot three things must happen, that fool must prove that he is injured (personal stake) and not on behalf of the public , causation (that the action actually caused his personal injury) and redress (how the injury can be made right or compensated)…or it must be from an act of Congress. Don’t take it too personal; John McCain and Ralph Nadar’s and other candidacies have also been challenged. Just look at it as another racially motivated formality…what else is new!

I am in the same position now, or maybe a little poorer since he became president. Food price have gone up, the wall street criminals have been paid off, and we are still fighting wars to maintain a f****d up system that still hate and oppressed the black man. So Mr. Obama, have never mentioned the million plus black men in prison. Bring something of value to me, and I will care.
