15% of Ohio Conservatives Say Romney More Responsible For Killing Osama bin Laden Than Obama
To illustrate how many conservatives are basing their political beliefs on pure fiction, just look at the recent poll conducted by Public Policy Polling, in which a chunk of Republicans gave credit for killing Osama bin Laden to Mitt Romney.
In 
the poll, 15 percent of Ohio respondents who identified themselves as “very conservative” said they believed Romney was more responsible for Osama bin Laden’s death than President Obama.
Yes, you read right. These folks actually believe that the man who said the U.S. has more important things to do than chase down one terrorist, Romney, is more responsible for bin Laden’s death than the president who ordered bin Laden’s assassination.
The poll also shows that President Obama is now leading in Ohio, which is good news for the Obama campaign:
PPP’s first post-conventions poll in Ohio finds Barack Obama with a 5 point lead over Mitt Romney, 50-45. This is the largest lead PPP has found for Obama in an Ohio poll since early May. Last month Obama led 48-45. Both candidates have seen their images improve with Ohio voters in the wake of the conventions. Obama now breaks even in his approval rating at 48%, after being under water with 46% of voters approving and 51% disapproving of him a month ago.
Romney’s numbers are up from a 41/52 favorability rating a month ago as well, but he still remains unpopular. Only 44% see him favorably to 49% with a negative opinion.
What this poll also seems to demonstrate is that Obama got much more of a bounce from the Democratic convention than Romney got from the Republican one. How will it all hash out in the fall? Nobody knows. All we know is that there is a contingent of folks on the right who are determined to believe things that aren’t true.

It is hard for me to believe that Willard Mitt Romney would ever lie about a thing that is this big. I would like to know how anyone would think that Willard had anything to do with the killing of Osama bin Laden. When Willard stated that Osama was not worth looking for, the president was gathering information of his whereabouts. President Obama went against his cabinet members and made a decission and had the Navy SEALS to go get him. AND THEY DID!! Not because anything that Willlard did. GOOD TRY! Now go back and try somethine else to come up with.
