Why is This Olympic Champion Kissing Another Man’s Shoe?
This is France’s Teddy Riner kissing the shoe of his coach after winning the gold medal in judo. The coach was, reportedly, wearing the gold shoes and a gold tie in celebration of his pupil, but did Riner’s display of gratitude go too far? Was it necessary to lie down on the ground and kiss his coach’s foot?

It is very hard for us to watch a grown man lick or kiss another man’s shoe. We really cannot explain the point in this man’s life when his self esteem disappeared. Congrats to him on winning a metal, it is sad to think that he believes the credit is all in his coach or his shoes. On the other hand, people were so cruel to Gabby Douglas and they made such vicious comments about her that I thank God she didn’t hate herself and want to kiss somebody’s shoe!
