Watch: Gay Activists Confront Black Preacher at Chicago Chick-fil-A, Conservatives Cry Racism
by Yvette Carnell
First Christians, who believe in the sanctity of living only in the world as designed by God, headed to Chick-fil-A for some genetically modified chicken, made plump by the injection of a salt solution. OK. No contradiction there. Then LGBT activists reacted to their marginalization by forcing themselves on others, with Chick-fil-A kiss-in no less. Ok. But just when you thought the show was over, a video emerged from the protest which only served to add gasoline to the flame.
In the video below, you can see protesters standing around a seated man while he preaches aloud. The man, a preacher of some sort, and the protesters, go back and forth for a bit, then one of the protesters mocks the seated man.
The man dressed in plaid says to the Chick-fil-A preacher, “Your Bible is, in of itself, immoral…. I am tired of your hypocrisy, sir. I am tired of the hypocrisy coming out of these books.” The preacher seems to have muttered in response “then you hate God,” which caused activists to yell, “I do hate God! Because the God that you worship stoned rape victims.”
The end of the video shows a chalk drawing that reads “He’s Really Gay Deep Down”, with an arrow pointed directly to where the preacher was seated. I’m not so sure about that, but the whole thing does kind of bring to mind this.
Either way, I have very little sympathy for a man who shows up with a Bible amid a pro-LGBT rights protest. You get what you get.
But it didn’t take long for the ideologues to chime in, and for the National Review’s Jack Fowler to accuse the LGBT activists of racism. Why? The GOP reserves the right to throw down the race card wherever it sees fit. It’s just not for you or me. Only they get to decide when racism is really racism, and that’s usually when an act is being perpetuated by a white liberal. And so it goes…
