Shooting Near Texas A&M Leaves 3 People Dead, Including Gunman
At least three people are dead after a shooting near Texas A&M, according to the Associated Press.
The Eagle reports that at least five people were also taken to the hospital.
“Texas A&M released a Code Maroon warning at 12:29 p.m. advising all students, staff and members of the public to avoid the area … and to stay inside if they lived on Fidelity Street,” The Eagle reported. “A second warning was issued at 12:44 stating the shooter was in custody, but people should continue to avoid the area.”

Police say the gunman has died after a shooting that killed a law enforcement officer and another civilian near the Texas A&M University campus.
Bryan Police Department spokesman Jon Agnew says two other law enforcement officers and another woman also were injured in the Monday shooting in College Station. Bryan police are assisting in the investigation.
No additional details were available at the time of this report.
