Retired Colonel Screams at Condi Rice: “You Cannot be Compassionate and Kill People in a War of Choice”
Anti-war protesters were in full affect during the RNC convention, and a few of them caught up with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice while she
was giving a speech.
“You cannot be compassionate and kill people in the war of choice, the war on Iraq,” Retired Colonel Ann Wright shouted while Rice was speaking at a ONE/US Global Leadership event in Tampa. “I’m an Army Colonel, I am a former US diplomat, and these wars of choice that both the Republicans and the Democrats have had are terrible for our national security.”
Seconds later, another protester stood and shouted, “The blood of Iraqi children is on your hands…..Thousands of young soldiers my age have lost their lives unnecessarily in a war based on Condoleezza Rice and the Bush administration’s lies. True patriotism does not look like illegal bombing and lying into war that kills innocent civilians.”
The protesters, who were with the anti-war organization CODEPINK, were eventually removed by security.
It is true that no weapons of mass destruction were ever found in Iraq and Saddam Hussein didn’t have a role in 9/11. U.S. troops went to war in Iraq based on lies propagated by the Bush administration and today, with suicides and debilitating injuries at an all time high, soldiers are paying the price for the failures of Rice and the Bush administration. But Rice isn’t apologetic, far from it. At the RNC convention she’s been hawkish about America’s continued responsibility to police the world.

The collective conscience of humanity is finally reacting towards the lady who took and continue to take war, this nation, and the world to its lowest ever level.
Check out what Criminal Watch has to say about this obviously misguided mind controlled split persona:

thanks to YBW and particularly to Yvonne for her comment and link. During the Bush administration I thought I saw a strong parallelism between Dr Rice and pop stars who seemed to degrade themselves for money and fame — only what Dr Rice sold was above the neck, her heart and soul. So sad
Of all of Rice’s accomplishments it’s sad and says a lot about someone when her own people literaly and figuratively dismiss her and don’t even for the most part acknowledge her existence.
Well that is hat comes from the party where black people are seen as tokens.
However, Rice deserved these comments made against her. her foreign policy seeks to divide and create war amoungst the peoples of the world.
Well done to those protesters! Rice must account for the blood that she has shed under the guise of world security. While I respect her as a person, I completely abhor her foreign politics.
What do you expect from someone who has never been a diplomat abroad or elected to public office!!
Rice is responsible, yes, but let’s not let President Obama off the hook! He could have ended all this nonsense shortly after taking office! Yes, we give him a break on the economy because of what Bush left him, but now, almost four years later we are still at war and occupying countries all over the world; Gitmo Naval Base is still open; we are bombing people everyday with little justification.
If we are going to hate Rice, Bush, Cheney, ect. for this world imperialism, we must be fair and hold President Obama to account.
