Congressman Jesse Jackson’s Wife Speaks Publicly for the First Time About Her Husband’s Condition

The wife of Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. is starting to speak out to the public for the first time since her husband’s public health ordeal.  Sandi Jackson, who is both Congressman Jackson’s wife and an alderman on the Southside of Chicago, wanted to clear the air on her husband’s condition. She wanted to make sure, first and foremost, that the public knows that rumors of alcoholism and suicide attempts are simply not true.

“No, no, none of that is true,” Mrs. Jackson told the Chicago Tribune.

She was candid about the toll that Congressman Jackson’s condition has taken on her family.

“His collapse was D-Day for us,” said Sandi Jackson.  She said that her husband has been “completely debilitated by depression.”

Mrs. Jackson says that keeping her husband away from the media would give him time to heal.  While some have speculated that the hushed tone of the family was due to an effort to conceal the true nature of his condition, Mrs. Jackson says otherwise.

“We decided to impose a news blackout during his treatment to enable him to heal,” said Mrs. Jackson.

“I was in Chicago, when Jesse — who was at home in Washington, D.C. — collapsed,” she said. “His father, Rev. Jackson, called him on the phone and felt he didn’t sound right.”

Mrs. Jackson links the condition of her husband to his recent gastric surgery. She says that she didn’t want him to get the surgery, but he chose to do so anyway.

“His body was just worn out. I never really wanted him to have the gastric surgery in the first place. He called and told me not to worry, but it was obvious he was suffering from a form of depression.”

Mrs. Jackson says that her husband has his up and down days, but that she expects him to return to politics soon.  She connects his depression and fatigue to a lack of nutrients from his bypass surgery.

I do hope his he recover from his illness soon…

Now to be honest, his condition was caused by the fact that he was investigated by the Department of Justice concerning the Blagos trial…he was force to testify against the same man that he was going to give five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) too in order for him to be appointed to the vacant senate seat left by President Obama…

The thought of going to prison, being caught in a scandal, and being forced to SNITCH on Blagos would be enough to make anyone sick…

Remember, he was charged with a crime, caught on video and audio tapes promising to give this cash and to help secure a job for Blagos wife…

You know, the same thing happen to his father when he ran for President…but he did not suffer from any illness…when Jesse ran for President against Bill Clinton, the Fed’s made public that he owed back child support for 26 children…

They told him that if he got all those Black people who was going to vote for him, they would pay his child support, and give him twenty five million dollars if Clinton became President…the rest is history…the man made sure that every Black man and woman in this country voted for Perverted Bill…

I guess this is what you should expect when you play with the devil, especially on his terms…

In reality, and with all due respect, I do not feel sorry for the man…because he got caught…

It doesn’t surprise me one bit that the REVEREND Jesse Senior would have 26 children. If you go back to the days he spent with MLK and the Civil Rights movement, you might find he has triple that amount of children.

It doesn’t surprise me one bit that she would stick behind her unfaithful, snitchn ayz husband! Not only is he being investigated for spending our tax dollars to fly in his white trophy to Chicago for their little escapades, hes also a snitch! Getting caught would depress anyone. Get well soon Jr. so you can pay the consequences! Arrogant piece of garbage!

Bypass surgery – was he fat? I never knew of him to be fat. He did not look like a fat man on TV or in the press?

Kim…you are SO RIGHT! I say it all the time! I feel NO SYMPATHY for my people when they think they are priveledged all of a sudden. (Actually I am very sympathetic) BUT I am just saying, live with integrity and we can’t be touched. Live the life of a liar and you WILL go down. We need to practice staying in our lane!

I do hope he gets better but I also think they need to be forthright with the real problem. He could speak out on depression or whatever! Also, I didn’t know he was fat to the point of having gastric bypass sutgery??? Really?
