Zimmerman Released on Bond One Day After His Attorney Said He Couldn’t Afford It

Yesterday, George Zimmerman’s attorney, Mark O’Mara, said that his client couldn’t possibly make bond because he didn’t have the collateral for the $1,000,000 bond set by the judge.

O’Mara said Zimmerman did not have “anywhere near the $1,000,000 for collateral” and “even if we pay the $100,000 fee, the bail bond company will have to agree to work with us on how the collateral would be posted.”

Then, O’Mara posted a solicitation for donations on Zimmerman’s website:

For those who have given in the past, for those who have thought about giving, for those who feel Mr. Zimmerman was justified in his actions, for those who feel they would do the same if they were in Mr. Zimmerman’s shoes, for those that think Mr. Zimmerman has been treated unfairly by the media, for those who feel Mr. Zimmerman has been falsely accused as a racist, for those who feel this case is an affront to their constitutional rights–now is the time to show your support.

Well, the solicitations must have worked because Zimmerman raised $20,000 in one day, and was released on bond from the Sanford county jail today.

It is amazing and disgusting how so many in the MSM and LSM are doing their best to paint Zimmerman as a victim. Am sill waiting, but not expecting any of them to report that Zimmeman was high on drugs when the murdered Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman on Drugs With Violent Side Effects When He Killed Trayvon [VIDEO]
    May 20, 2012

    By Kirsten West Savali

While the mainstream media made sure to report with exclamations and gasps that marijuana was found in Trayvon Martin‘s system on the night that he was killed, many outlets failed to also report that the level was well below what medical studies show cause “performance impairment.” The same can not be said for George Zimmerman. According to the paramedic report, the vigilante neighborhood watch captain was on the prescription drug Temazepam, reports MSNBC.com.

    RELATED: NewsOne’s Trayvon Martin Coverage

Temazepam, also known as Restoril, is known to cause insomnia and anxiety, reports MSNBC. But there are more important side effects that were not mentioned.

    Newsone exclusively reports:

According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, the drug is also known to cause “aggressiveness” and “hallucinations,” among other problematic symptoms.

From the U.S. Library of Medicine:

“You should know that some people who took medications for sleep got out of bed and drove their cars, prepared and ate food, had s*x, made phone calls, or were involved in other activities while partially asleep. After they woke up, these people were usually unable to remember what they had done. Call your doctor right away if you find out that you have been driving or doing anything else while you were sleeping.

“You should know that your mental health may change in unexpected ways while you are taking this medication. It is hard to tell if these changes are caused by temazepam or if they are caused by physical or mental illnesses that you already have or suddenly develop. Tell your doctor right away if you experience any of the following symptoms: aggressiveness, strange or unusually outgoing behavior, hallucinations (seeing things or hearing voices that do not exist), feeling as if you are outside of your body, memory problems, difficulty concentrating, new or worsening depression, thinking about killing yourself, confusion, and any other changes in your usual thoughts, mood, or behavior. Be sure that your family knows which symptoms may be serious so that they can call the doctor if you are unable to seek treatment on your own.”

    oppressed.” –Steve Biko

Mark “Omara continues to prove what a habitual liar he is he is just like gz the two of them and the rest of the zim family are peas in one pod. Omara should be disbarred he is not only sleezy he is dishonest, a blatant liar and I think he makes a fool of himself every time he appear in publiic I wonder why judge Lester can’t see through this criminal. I wonder if judge Lester is part of the ultimate plan to let gz walk free I sure hope not if that is the outcome that will be sad for this country. Look at the eyes of gz on the night of the murder clearly the drugs he is taking is having a serious affect on him his pupils are very dilated you can see it in the pictures taken of him. this guy is a dangerous explosive cannon that has sputtered through his entire life cultimating in the murder of Trayvon

Thank God! All the evidence points to Trayvon Martin being a violent, degenerate thug and Zimmerman being an upstanding citizen. It’s a disgrace that Zimmerman has even been charged with a crime.

Why don’t we all just wait until the trail. A young man was killed and now another man is fighting for his life. Bottom line another man took someone else life.

If the low-life punk, Trayvon Martin, wouldn’t have smashed Mr. Zimmerman’s head against the concrete pavement, he wouldn’t have been shot — period. That was the “triggering” event. It’s too bad Trayvon wasn’t raised better.

No, it’s too bad racist evil degenerate people such as yourself exist. but no surprise. To believe all the hype about Zimmerman being justified for killing a black person shows how dedicated you & other racist Americans are to your sick, racist hopes and dreams. you probably would’ve called Emmet Till a thug to and supported the men who killed him. I’m 100% sure your parents or grandparents did.

How do you know how Trayvon was raised? He was well liked in school and apparently very ambitious and goal-minded. So he smoked a little weed. So did George Bush and some other well-known people when they were younger. Is that why Bush left America f—-d up.

How was George Z. raised, to fight cops and kill at will? Remember he followed Martin that night, even after being advised by 911 not to. That’s aggressive behavior, which may be enough to get him convicted, unless you have some bigoted jurors serving.

Some people (zm supporters) will support his cause just because they feel it will do harm to Black people. However, no matter how much money he raises, he will continue to be imprisoned simply because he can no longer live a normal life.

@melissa, I submit to you that in GZ’s community, whenever he returns to it, he will be welcomed as a hero and will suffer NO ill effects from this ordeal. His community has the ability to reward and punish and his deeds will be rewarded. Make no mistake, we are not yet major players and we need to STAND-UP and encourage others to do the same. As long as we’re standing, we should open our mouths and say a little something too.

George Zimmerman is not really free. He belongs to the people who have paid for his freedom. If he decides to do something they don’t like, they can make him suffer. People like to make up stories about what happened the night Zimmerman killed Travon Martin; but I do not waste my time doing that. A story is just a story; it is not reality. Also, I know that how things look can be very different from how they really are. But I know one thing for sure: Zimmerman is not a free man. He is indebted to a lot of people; and some of those people may have their own ulterior motives. People don’t pay for something without expecting something in return. I do not envy him one bit.

Wow gz walks out again, he better hope that all these people who continue 2pay 4 his freedom will also pay 4 his protection. He will 4ever live in the guilt of killing this child. That judge cannot have obtained his law degree & possibly believe that gz is telling the truth about what happened that night. He knows that if gz can lie about money he will certainly lie about MURDER!!! I just wish that these people who are on gz side don’t have kids that find themselves in TM shoes. Imagine having 2live w/out ur child & everything u know about him/her does not warrant that their lives be ended so violently. THIS IS SOME CRAZY MIXED UP MESS!!!!

The NRA is very rich and powerful. There are a lot BIAS rich folk who will continue to support George. Zimmerman is their hero. BIGOTS AND COWARDS will continue to run this country in the ground and discriminate against minorities and women. If you are not kissing their a$$ or if you don’t think like they do, they want your head on a platter.

I’m not surprised that he was able to raise the money. Truth is these folks just won’t believe he profiled Martin stalked him and shot him (bcz ofcourse he’s white oh wait no white mexican). All of his account of events don’t add up. The folk who donated to him probably are the same ones who will say black folk ought get over slavery, and other racist foolery! Even if he does walk which I highly doubt he still won’t be FREE period. The murdering of Trayvon will stalk him for the rest of his awful, meaningless life. All of these events that have transpired since the death of Trayvon should definitely be a wake up call for us African Americans. WE HAVE BEEN TO STAGNANT with our demands. We’ve been sleep!! YES RACISM IS ALIVE AND WELL!! America has become better! BETTER At covering the systematic racism and injustice I hope Trayvon’s death won’t be in vain.

We must all know that the people supporting Zimmerman don’t give a darn about him they are followers of the NRA, and the ones who don’t want the ” Stand Your Ground Law” is not overturned, because they want it in all the states! This law only work for certain individuals, and the only reason they are fighting so hard for Zimmerman, is because Trayvon’s parents just didn’t except what was told to them the fought back by getting the World involved, therefore; it couldn’t be sweep under the carpet and never be heard of again. No it’s not even about Trayvon either it’s then”stand you ground law, people woke- up, and became aware of the law! Think about it did you know anything about this law before this case? Probably Not!

The Republican side of the spectrum has created a mechanism whereby “nasty” is how you treat others who don’t share your opinions. They have a number of disrespectful governors, especially, the bully in NJ, a senator who doesn’t know how to be a gentleman during the State of the Union after which he raised substantial amounts of money, a female governor who has the “stupidity” of “pointing her finger in POTUS” face, the lies the leadership continue to tell Americans. When will this madness stop?

Innocent until proven guilty, and he won’t be found guilty of the crime he’s been charged with because self-defense is not a crime.

What was Zimmerman defending himself from, Kerri? He accosted a teenager who was holding a can of Arizona Iced Tea in one hand and a bag of Skittles candy in the other as he walked toward his father’s house. Zimmerman was not supposed to be out of his vehicle, according to the police dispatcher. Zimmerman knew the rules for patrol: no weapons of any kind. You should read the reports from the police and the medical people, because there seems to be a great deal of public information you haven’t seen or read. Are you from the South? If so, you know that whites are never guilty of anything and blacks are always guilty, even when there is evidence to the contrary.

Well said Ruby, and I am from the south….where “black is wack, and “white is right” no matter what the cost. But the sad thing about this is that there are still blacks that are “Jim Crows” and staggering as to whether Trayvon was gunned down in cold blood (of which he was) or “well, maybe he provoked Zimmerman.” WHAT!! Who in their right mind (except the NRA) wants to be killed. Blacks in the south need to wake up and realize that the “crab” mentality is just another name for the “Willie Lynch” syndrome – and it still exists. Just look at the support behind Zimmerman – even though he killed that young man, he’s “one of them”, and they take care of their own.
