Watch: Handcuffed Man Shot Twice by San Francisco Police, According to Eyewitnesses
Police officers in San Francisco shot a man they believed to have a knife, but eyewitness testimony indicates that the man was unarmed and handcuffed 
at the time he was shot.
Officers responded to the scene after receiving a report that someone had been shot near Pier 17.
At around 11:30 a.m., the San Francisco Chronicle reported that a man was shot by police after he refused to drop a knife the knife he’d used in a stabbing earlier. But this account of the events conflicts with reports from witnesses who were at the scene and witnessed the shooting:
Two YouTube videos uploaded after the shooting recorded what witnesses said happened:
“So what happened here?” the cameraman asks a witness.
“The police shot somebody. In the chest, twice,” he says.
“They said that the man had a gun or something but he didn’t. He was just a civilian.”
“What was he doing?” the person recording the video asks.
“Nothing. They had him in cuffs. And they shot him. Twice.”
“They shot him in cuffs?”
The cameraman recording the video then runs over to question police.
In the second video, a second witness says “a female officer with f*****g short blonde hair” shot the handcuffed man.
“While he was in handcuffs?” the cameraman asks.
“Yes.” He confirms.
“And you witnessed this?”
“I saw this.”
One witness describes him bleeding out, while still in handcuffs. The man was shot twice in the chest and taken to the hospital. At the time of this reporting, he was in serious condition.

I am not a violent man but this could cause me to go postal, if true. Now let me clarify something about videos, going back to the infamous Rodney King video which sparked a riot. a video with no sound can be misleading. in that case, the officers were yelling, “Stay down. Stay down!”. King kept trying to get up, and the officers went BY THE BOOK and beat him until he stayed down. I have no love for the Los Angelos police, but my instincts as a retired reporter makes me seek fairness in journalism. Let’s see what an investigation brings out before we rush to judgement. That is not always easy. I often wonder why anyone would want to be a police officer. Would inherent hostility or racism be a reason?
America is exceptional: exceptionally violent, exceptionally racist, exceptionally hypocritical and exceptionally blind to facts. And some people wonder why so many other nations hate the American government. They do business with the U.S. because we have the most weapons, and we are not afraid to bully other governments: you do what we want or we will stop the billions of dollars we give you. This the truth; it is ugly but true. I don’t like it, but I won’t deny it.
You’re absolutely correct. This part of the globe can be easily deemed as the most uncivilized place on the planet. The framers of the US constitution designed it around the circumstances “at that time” & this is why the 2nd Amendment [right to bear arms] stands so high on that “document.” It’s telling that this part of the globe is basically controlled through the barrel of a gun and WE, as a people, need to start recognizing the “ugly behavior” that’s standing behind that gun instead of remaining bamboozled into thinking that all of the 100′s of layers of cop agencies (fbi, cia, nsa, tsa, city, state, us marshall, etc) totting firearms, is “normal” when, again, all it’s saying is this part of the globe, is totally “uncivilized.” Some will say that this part of the globe in reality, is at war, with itself! WE, as a people, better wake up to what it really means to live in a truly “civilized” environment, that’s if WE care about our future. In other words, WE need to refrain from seeking civil rights and get on track with “human rights” which means that WE have the right to have our own land, be self productive & self sustaining instead of continuing to be economic/debt slaves to a uncivilized system, it’s just that simple…
It is one thing for these hateful men and women in uniform to address the issue of crime that was related to the stabbing incident itself. We have laws that should and must prevail; but then quite another for these killer cops to have shot to death a non threatening man in handcuffs…unlawful, unjust, unethical. We need justice for just us!
The reality is cops in many countries act horribly. It’s not just in America, believe it or not. In some countries, it’s worse than America. I have a friend who is a cop. Not all cops are good, not all cops are bad and some of them are criminal. It happens. The woman who did this no matter what the person in handcuffs did historically shouldn’t have shot him while he was in cuffs.
This is very sad but it is becoming the norm for the USA. People having crazy attacks, losing their minds, to include the law enforcement personnel. This is not a coincidence. What I am about to say may sound crazy but it is true.
The reason for all the mental outbreaks, people shooting people, parents killing children, children killing parents and other children etc is a NUTRITIONAL DEFICIT (and a Moral deficit) but the physically the bodies of these individuals are more than likely nutrient deficient as are 98% of the population. People are lacking Amino Acids, good fats to coat the brain (not the synthetic stuff on the shelves its not working) that is the reason for ADD, ADHD, Alzheimers, most of the mental issues so readily being diagnosed today… NUTRITION DEFICIENCY.Which is also the reason for the increase in all the diseases: High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Obesity, Heart Conditions, Kidney Failures, etc etc etc.

“Community of love” sounds so romantic, so peaceful, so civilized. Unfortunately these things are hard to come by. It brings up memories of JONESTOWN, the commune founded by Rev. Jim Jones in Guiana some 30 years ago. The pastor had a persecution complex, and the whole thing culminated in a mass suicide. The human race probably needs to evolve some more before we are rid of our killer instinct.

So the implementation of tasers are a waist of critical tax dollars (assuming he wasn’t handcuffed) if they’re just gonna use long range weapons (a gun) to shoot someone with out out that capability. Either way it doesn’t make sense to me, yielding a knife (admittingly stupid) should not justify deadly force unless the guy was actually engaging police and closing the distance to make the knife effective (in range). Even then what happened to rubber bullets and again a taser? I guess the well funded sfpd aren’t funded enough to have the neccessary resourses to detain this guy without the use of deadly force. How does theses murderous cops sleep at night? If that ainethe devil in them what can it be? Ignorance maybe???
