Schwarzenegger Jokes about Smoking Weed with Obama in the 1970s
Arnold Schwarzenegger recently made a joke that probably isn’t making President Obama very happy right now. During an interview with Men’s Fitness Magazine, Arnold said that the worst lie ever told about him was the one about he and Barack Obama getting high together in the 1970s.
When asked about what it was like to smoke marijuana with Obama, Arnold said that the worst part of it all was that “he didn’t share.”
The comments were political, since there is now legislation that mightmake cannabis illegal in the state of California, even for most medical reasons.
Roseanne Barr even chimed in on the matter. During an interview with David Letterman, Barr said that President Obama could have her joints only if he’s ready for a fight. “Obama, you’ll get my joint when you pry it out of my cold, dead fingers,” she said.
President Obama has admitted to smoking marijuana in the past. A new book gives details of his weed smoking days in high school back in Hawaii. In spite of his own history of experimenting with marijuana and other drugs in the past, some have grown frustrated that the president has not done more to end the War on Drugs or deal with mass incarceration resulting from drug possession and distribution.

Look at whatmaking illegal has done for pot. Made the drug dealers in other countrys rich, dope dealers here rich, and put so many in jail for such a silly criminal offense. Now kids wanting to get high are using bath salts and killing themselves….why Pot isnt so bad ,,you cant OD…you just go to sleep…well, eat then go to sleep. This is a substance that could be regulated, just like beer. It could be taxed just like whiskey, and you do NOT OD on pot, just get real sleepy. Why not take advantage of mari?,, use it for getting our country out of the mess we are in. The war on drugs has failed. I see herion and all that stuff, should be illegal, yes! But many of us enjoy the relaxed feeling that a puff or two or three from a joint gives us, too bad it is considered criminal. Please, decriminalize pot now.

I can definitely see a reason for changing some of the drug laws. Personally, I favor sanctions against drugs like Heroin and Crack Cocaine … but the lowly Weed?? Give me a break. My Native American ancestors used it for centuries for medicine and I think it was used in Africa the same way. There’s no reason for Weed to be illegal. Marijauna has a number of legitimate medical uses including reducing eye fluid pressure in Glaucoma patients and reducing nausea in cancer patients going through chemotherapy. I remember that Cocaine was removed years ago from medical use because it’s so insanely addictive. And Heroin has it’s problems too although I’d like to see that dealt with the way it is in England … give it to the addicts who really need it, and offer help getting off it. They do this to reduce crime such as people stealing to support their habit.
