Report: George Zimmerman Refused Specialist For ‘Broken’ Nose
A newly released report says that George Zimmerman had injuries to his scalp, a black eye, and a broken nose, as a result of his fight with Trayvon Martin, but refused to have his nose looked at by a specialist.
The report was from his personal doctor since Zimmerman’s injuries were not serious enough for him to be taken to the hospital by ambulance on the night he shot and killed Trayvon Martin.
The medical report says Zimmerman’s doctor requested he see an ear, nose, and throat doctor, but Zimmerman declined.
Although the report was released by Zimmerman’s attorney, the information seems to aid the prosecution since Zimmerman not seeking a specialist adds to the chorus of evidence which indicates that his injuries were not serious. According to the physician’s report, the only reason Zimmerman even came in was so that he could get a doctor’s note to return to work.
