Fury Over Obamacare Leads to Racist Rant, Assault on Deli Worker
An Arizona woman is accused of trying to assault a store worker with a hammer because she was upset about Obamacare, according to My Fox Phoenix.
Police say 32-year-old Amber Gardner walked into the Mesa Food and Deli store near Horne and Broadway Road and began yelling “This is the United States of America! Obama passed a law yesterday!”
Then Gardner made racist comments about employees at the deli deli and tried to hit one with a hammer. Gardener was stopped when one employee managed to pull her away from the employee she was chasing with the hammer.
According to police, the woman caused $1,000 worth of damage in the store.

It is Affordable Health Care not Obamacare. My dad said so many whites were also against Dr. King and his civil rights marches failing to realize his fight enabled all citizens to be paid a decent wage for their work.

This law is not all that good for your average person but what it does is give insurance companies a whole lotta more customers.
Steven Q does not understand anything about the Affordable Care Act, so he should not comment. ACA is very good for the average person. Parts of the law are already in effect. People who have no insurance will now have it. Insurance companies will not be able to drop clients if they file a claim. They can’t drop a client or refuse to take a client because of his/her illness. Pre-existing conditions will not be reasons to refuse coverage. Other parts of the law will go into effect in 2013 and in 2014. If you already have insurance, you can keep it. This isn’t all there is to the law, but it’s what I know, so far.

It is already in effect in some states. at this time in history, there are so many people out of work; so many people who work for small firms that do not provide healthcare; and there are some people who just need “better” medical care because of a pre-existing condition. this healthcare bill covers all of that and the government subsidizes it. This bill has been a no brainer since the beginning. just because “this” President is trying to help “all” people and the repubs don’t care how good something is, they will say no because “this” President is trying to provide something that 100% of the country needs. After reading the tenor and contents of the comments, it appears to me the woman may have been some what crazed , however the authors of the comments seem to be the ones who are racist and the haters. The article said nothing concerning the reason for the out burst. Some assumed she was from the KKK, GOP, Tea Party, I didn’t read any thing which suggested she was associated with any of these.
I can hardly believe, among black people, if anyone says anything that is remotely negative towards our President we have a need to go totally off on them.
May I suggest that we do not celebrate the passing of this important law until all of the new taxes and penalties are enforced 2 years from now.
For those of you who have the time to read 2300 pages and understand the content I assure you it is not what we have been told, we, each and every one of us, will be paying a very high monetary price for this bill. Some people even think they can get free health care, it’s not going to happen, it’s not in the bill!
President Obama is first and above all a politician, he is not your friend and the decisions he makes are because his financial backers push him in that direction.
He looks like us, and we all want him to succeed, however he has never had the experiences of the average black man.
