Chicago: Men Jump Out of Limo and Start Beating Pedestrians
Police say four men jumped out of a white stretch limousine around 2AM Sunday and began beating passersby while others videotaped the attack. The incident occurred about a block away from Wrigley Field in Chicago.
Three men, ages 22, 27 and 27, were injured, police said. One of the 27-year-old victims was treated for a broken jaw at Illinois Masonic Hospital.
According to NBC Chicago:
Four men were arrested and charged. Corry Simmons, 32, of the 1800 Block of South Ridgeway was charged with breaking a man’s jaw. Donald Robinson, Jr., 31, of the 1800 Block of South Ridgeway; Alvin Goffin, 32, of the 3600 Block of South Rhodes Avenue; and Edward Robinson, 31, of the 1800 Block of South Springfield Avenue were all charged with felony mob action.
The men will appear in court today (Monday).
