Barbara Walters: Zimmerman Showed Up in T-Shirt, Demanded We Foot Month-Long Hotel Bill

Barbara Walter spilled the beans on George Zimmerman, the vigilante who shot unarmed teen Trayvon Martin, today on The View.

Walters told a stunned audience that she flew to Florida to meet with Zimmerman to arrange an interview with him, but the meeting was anything but ordinary.

According to Walters, Zimmerman arrived to the meeting in a t-shirt, and made an outlandish demand.

Although Walters didn’t reveal what Zimmerman’s demand was, the Miami Herald reported that Zimmerman wanted ABC to pay for a month-long hotel stay for he and his wife, Shellie Zimmerman.

Walters said only, ”It was a condition that, being a member of ABC News, I was unable to grant.”

Walters continued, describing Zimmerman as “soft spoken” and “desperate for money”. Walters also said Zimmerman’s attorney, Mark O’Mara, wanted him to do the interview.

If the interview had been granted, it would have aired after Sean Hannity’s  Fox interview on Wednesday night, which was broadcast at 9PM EST.

Zimmerman called into The View during the show to smooth things over with Walters, but she refused his call.

“Mr. Zimmerman, if you could not do the interview yesterday, I don’t think we should do a quick one today,” Walters said.

Zimmerman and O’Mara may’ve intended to go on Fox to repair Zimmerman’s reputation after allegations of child molestation emerged last week, and the judge who presided over  his bond hearing called him a “manipulator”, but it appears that that strategy has backfired.

Consider that today’s headlines have been filled with reporters and pundits questioning Zimmerman’s characterization of what happened the night he fatally shot Trayvon Martin as “God’s will.” Zimmerman also drew strong criticism for saying  he wouldn’t have done anything differently if he had the opportunity to relive the night in question.

It is absolutely ridiculous when the perpetrator of a violent crime is treated like a celebrity. Zimmerman’s murder of Trayvon Martin is a natural progression of racist, stereotypical views of African American men in the US. Black people as a group, in American society are percieved as less valuable than white Americans. When will we wake up as a people! Equality is not something given to one group by another, it must be taken! Individualism is the down fall of our black people. I pray for the Martin family that they will get justice for their son. To Mr. Zimmerman, ” what goes around, comes around!”

Thank you Zimmerman you have truly shown what a piece of racist sh$t you really are, and the idiots that are donating money to your cause are just as racist as you are. The b***s you have to say that you would do this all over again if you had the chance makes me want to throw up and it just goes on to prove you had no good intentions on that night, you hunted this innocent child down and murdered him, I hope you die a horrible death by the same means, you piece of trash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He’s getting more donations because he’s being allowed to parade around like a celeb on tv, etc. Human life has little value and requires little respect anymore it seems. Tv shows want ratings. Too many people watch and ‘do’ as their told and so the story goes.

We should want George Zimmerman to have the best defense possible. His racist supporters should haul in barrels of money to pay a battery of lawyers to defend him. Then after he’s gotten a fair trial and has been represented by the most able and expensive counsel, we will see that Zimmerman will go off to prison and have more than enough tme to repent or perish!

Warning: Let’s not teach our young people to look down on or hate other people because of physical differences. All of us must learn to respect other human beings and look at them the way God does – not at their outer appearences but at their hearts. Racism is demonic! It is a tool of Satan! And it will get all who engage in ti in big trouble . . . now or later!

Racism is alive and well, yet. The only answer that I have is to turn to the Lord Jesus with all your heart – He is the only answer. The loyalty we have displayed for this country goes on unnoticed. Having served in the Armed Forces I am aware that from the Revolutionary war to Iraq and Afghanistan, We Were There, We Were Always There! Again, there is no peace except in Christ Jesus!

Just imagine BET would have had OJ Simpson on their network for an interview and asked, “What do you have to say about your critics”….no what if they just had him on at this early in the case? Put it this way….it would of been a sports channel by now! #Hypocrisy!

‘Come into my parlor said the spider to to the fly; long run, short catch’. Zimmerman, as manipulative as he is, is just being manipulated by the media into hanging himself with the rope thats being given to him by the media. Who knows what other crimes he has committed that no one knows about. It’s comforting to know that what’s done in the dark eventually comes to light. So Zimmerman, continue to tighten the noose around your neck. You fool.

You wonder if this man has killed before the way he has no reaction to what had just taken place, and any time we have seen him since it is always the same kind of emotion.. basically NONE.. So has he killed before? Is this the kind of person who has killed dogs and cats… killed so many that doesn’t react to killing?

I am the only one that think something is wrong with the legal system in Florida when do a murder get to be interviewed on television even before the trial begins, and make demands like he is owed a metal for killing a black teenager. Wait maybe he was promised something for killing a black teenager since there has been a rash of black teenage murders by police in Florida lately. The man has openly admitted that he killed this boy and would do it again with no regret and he is still free see people like him allowed to get away with what he done can advance to the Colorado killer that had with no remorse and respect for life.

Zimmerman is a cold blooded killer, who has gotten away with other crimes and has the adasty to think he is God right hand man; and now blame God for Travon death. The last time I read my bible it said “thou should not kill”
