White House Brawl? Holder and Axelrod Almost Came to Blows

Attorney General Eric Holder almost came to blows with White House political strategist David Axelrod,  according to a new book by a Newsweek reporter.

In Daniel Klaidman’s “Kill or Capture: The War on Terror and the Soul of the Obama Presidency“, the author  describes a verbal altercation between Holder and Axelrod that almost led to a physical fight.

Klaidman wrote that Axelrod was furious at Holder after he heard that “Holder and his aides were spreading the word that he was trying to improperly influence the Justice Department.”

“Axelrod, who knew all too well that even the hint of White House meddling with Justice Departmentinvestigations could detonate a full-blown scandal, had been careful not to come close to that line,” Klaidman writes.

After one Cabinet meeting, Axelrod went to Holder and said, “’Don’t ever, ever accuse me of trying to interfere with the operations of the Justice Department.”

Holder, who did not appreciate being reamed in public, replied “That’s bullshit.” The exchange became heated, but fortunately, Valerie Jarrett stepped in to break it up.

“Few people could talk to Holder as directly as Jarrett could,” writes Klaidman.

David Axelrod, and ALL of those d**n Jews there at the White House are bossing President Obama, and trying to control any and everybody else, as well. And they wan’t to run this whole country, and have made a puppet out of Obama. So I’m glad to hear that Eric Holder kind of tolld this Jew boy off. And would not surprise me if Axelrod is behind the problems that Holder is now having, because they most likely have it in for him, and want him removed from the attorney general office. — Rev. I am very disappointed in your reference in calling David Axelrod a jew boy. Assuming you are a black man & an ordained man of God. I think your comments were presumptuous & arrogant to say the least. Suppose this story was the opposite, a white man using the term home boy! I would think you would be offended.

MR. Brooks you should be ashammed of yourself for the comment you posted here. You have stooped to the same level as the right wing bigots and the tea party folks that attend church every Sunday
    and call themselves Christians

I wonder who is telling the President, that he shouldn’t say anything about senseless shootings and killings in African-American communities across America or to be political correct, who told him that he shouldn’t say stop senseless shooting and killings in all the communities across America.

I still say re-elect President Obama!!!!
