Poll: Obama Loses Stunning Amount of Black Support in Nevada
A new poll out from the Democratic leaning Public Policy Polling shows President Obama losing a stunning amount of black support in Nevada.
The poll has Obama getting 69 percent of the African-American vote and Republican Mitt Romney getting 28 percent.
If this poll is accurate, Obama is rapidly losing ground among his African American base in an important swing state. Remember that in 2008, Obama received 94% of the African American vote in Nevada. If he’s slipped from 94% to 69%, that would signal an enormous shift among African American voters.
Still, President Obama leads challenger Mitt Romney in Nevada 48% to 42% in Nevada. That’s still down from Obama’s previous 8 point lead in the state.
