Mitt Romney May Be First Presidential Candidate to Refuse a Debate

Already it has been shown that Romney is avoiding the press at all costs.  Any questions about funding or tax cuts have been reverted to the same answer, ‘We’ll talk about it when I’m president.’  President Barack Obama has announced several times that he is willing to debate with Mitt Romney ‘anytime, anywhere’, but Romney diverts from the question of the debate as if he didn’t even hear it.

Romney has been given many chances to debate but has refused each one.  One of them was back in January 2012.  NBC had scheduled a Monday night debate for Romney on January 23rd 2012 but just 3 days before the debate began, NBC cancelled it.  The reason still remains unknown but it could be due to his refusal to commit to it.  NBC reverted back to its regular programming for that night.

So why isn’t Romney willing to show himself and talk about the issues of our Nation?  Through exclusive interviews it’s been sounding more and more like he’s basically accepting that he’s already won.  Forget how he’s going to get the money, it’s just going to work as he’s explained to Bob Schieffer on CBS.

With it already being half way through the year, time is ticking down for the option of the Romney and Obama debate.  It will almost certainly be one of the largest factors in the votes this year if it happens.  However if the 2012 election goes on without a debate, Romney will be the first in history not to debate before the actual election.

He’s doesnt believe he has already won. He is trying to become president without putting himself out there too much. He knows he said alot of really reckless things during the primary, and he’s trying to avoid being asked about it. He’ll try to stick close to Fox or any other outlet that will let him skate through interviews with soft ball questions. He knows the Republican plan is very simple. Fear monger the h**l out of Obama with mostly baseless accusations and out spend him. Thats it…

Drum up fear and anger against the president, and flood the process with money…

Thing is…. I think he also knows that he can run but he cant hide..

Romney will of course have to debate, but I truly believe that if Obama brings his A-game he sweeps the floor with Romney. Romney has told so many lies that I see no way for him to get out of them. And he has lied on everything! It is unfortunate that the media hasn’t called out his lies!

Romney will be destroyed in debates and he knows it. I am enjoying seeing him and the Repugnicants squirm.

IF he is afraid to put himself and his thoughts out there, how will the people who are going to vote for him knows what he is going to do??? Or is it that, they do not care as long as the African is out!!! Set a date for at least one (1) debate Mr. Romney!!!!!!!

If Mitt “The Liar” Romney (the candidate of the 1%) isn’t willing to debate the President who Romney says is wrong, doesn’t know what he’s talking about, and that the President is out of touch then why should anyone vote for him? If he’s not willing to debate one on one then (1) he doesn’t have a plan (2) he’s waiting for someone else to tell him what to say or (3) his plan is so sinister he doesn’t want to talk about it. Maybe he’s like Sarah Palin–opens his mouth and disaster comes out (i.e. “Class size doesn’t matter”).

We, the people, cannot allow the media to let this slide. Imagine if President Obama ran away from debates what would be said then? Do you really think the media would be quiet like this?

An Obama win in November is a must. If Mitt “The Liar” Romney (maybe chichen too) wins it will embolden the racist, bigoted, violent and White Supremist elements of this country. Also if he wins American will be put into another war but this time with Iran, Syria, China or Pakistan. Do you want another war?

And let us not forget that the GOP is trying to violate your Civil Rights through voter suppression–don’t let them.

You know, you have a point. We need to demand more of the lamestream media. They are supposed to be the 4th Estate the ones that help keep the citizenry informed and they are failing miserably. I bet if we start flooding newsrooms with comminuqes demanding that they start doing their freaking job maybe we’ll get some action?

Romney wants to let Karl Rove and the Koch brothers do his bidding for him and avoid debates because he knows he cannot win such with President Obama. Fear mongering is what the GOP does best. It has been that way since World War II and don’t forget that.

That is good, I hate debates and frankly there have been too many in this election already. He is afraid because he knows that he has no plans and no ideas for this nation and President Obama is doing a good job and Romney is afraid to debate him because he has nothing to say on anything.
