Michelle Obama Offers Support For Robin Roberts via Twitter

Earlier today, Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts revealed that she has a rare blood disorder and will be taking some time off to have a bone marrow transplant.

This afternoon, First Lady Michelle Obama offered her good wishes for Roberts’ treatment and recovery, tweeting:

Bararck and I have you in our prayers. We believe in you and thank you for bringing awareness and hope to others – mo

The signature “mo” is used to indicate that the First Lady sent the tweet personally.

Robin Roberts overcame cancer in 2008. Substitute anchors will be filling in for Roberts while she recovers.

Robin is a strong woman. She has my prayers and so many more. We were so sorry that this happened so we will love and pray for you. God is a healer.
