You say this talk does nothing to help our cause..that’s where you’re wrong because without it people like Boyce cannot get paid. While we focus on criticizing President Obama do for us instead of doing for ourselves, Boyce quietly write divide and conquer ariticles that do nothing but benefit our oppressors and distract us from self empowerment while he stack dollars in his bank account from our blogs..in the name of love for black people.

What troubles me with both arguments is there is no consistency this close to the election. For instance the republicans are not all in favor of Romney and a vast majority of them have made up their minds that he is a greedy pig who is out of touch with mainstream america. But as a constituency they will support him. Why? because he’s a republican and they are republican. Their cohesiveness is not is meld in unity that this country should be ran by a white man. no matter how stupid George W Bush. or how invisible Ron Reagan was. The constituency is undaunted. No matter how wrong or right they will stick together. No matter how much people like Rush Limbaugh or Fox new’s Bill O’Rielly and Hannity and Colms. They will stick together. Against Us.

And as Malcolm X said ” And That’s What WE Need to Do”

These are changing times. And yes there is a ruling class that 30 or 40 years ago would not even consideer a brother in the white house.
But the ruling classes change and intolerances subside to amicable judgements. We have to stick together. Black people were just as devided behind King Malcolm and Douglass. h**l, even Marcus Garvey’s plans with Booker T. Had flaws but it was a movement in the right direction. Obama is trying to move the ruling class in the right direction and these seeds that he is sowing are falling of bad ground as well as good black dirt.
The question is are our hearts and minds firtile enough to grow with a better dream for the fuure?

They are either brain dead or GOP plants just here to try and buy votes for that Lying Mitt Romney. Anybody; especially a negro (not Blacks because we know better) who thinks they’ll be better off with Romney is a complete and utter fool. And the negro’s that say they will sit home and not vote are bigger fools than anybody, and I won’t say why because they wouldn’t understand it anyway. Shut up Valerie Jarrett, and let Barack Obama STAND UP ANd SPEAK FOR HIMSELF. And let some more black come out of his mouth than a few words from Al Green’s song. Why did he not show up at the NAACP Convention? It appears that any blacks that say anything that is not totally to his liking, and in his opinion may hurt white folks, he won’t face, but runs and hides from. Like his own pastor, Rev. Wright, the NAACP meeting, and Cornel West talking about poverty, which is really hurting blacks. And he does not have enough STRONG-VOICED blacks serving with him, but a ton of Jews there bossing him. With Jarrett being a long-time flunky of Chicago Jews and whites. And we blacks need to demand that he add several more bold blacks there as decision-makers, and that it be done BEFORE November. — Rev. George Brooks

Please ignore & get out campaign & vote for Obama! The alternative would be allowing those who are in the process of taking our voting rights away be in charge! If they’re in control what next will they take from us? To say President Obama doesn’t care about helping the black community when he spent his first couple of yrs post college working as a community organizer in the black community! Wake up blackpeople the cons did this same tactic in 2010 to the liberals encouraging them to not go to the polls. Now we have a kkk controlled congress whos justwaiting to put forth bills that would send us back into the times during segregation, if not the cotton fields! The only person standing in their way is President Obama & his veto power!! They are so close to acheiving their goal they will do anything to get there! People like Tavis, West, Watson, daisy123 & the likes are just their tools!

This would be a start; To address our nihilistic black issues and grievances, mass incarceration, poverty, education, breakdown of black families, etc.
If Obama would simply address these issues honestly this would help us greatly. We don’t need a handout, we need a way, to be lead like other races are to collective success for the future’s sake so that we can survive.

I unfortunatley have to agree with most of the comments about President Obama and what appears to be his blatant insensitivity towards the black community. I also have a big problem with how seemingly easy he finds it to throw his “black” fellow colleagues under the bus. For example, Ms Shirley Sharrod being sumarily fired based on inaccurate press coverage. The “dumping” of long time friend and Social Secretary Desiree Rogers. The are people who knew him when he was just “Barack Obama” These are people who believed in him, supported him, trusted him and in the end it didn’t seem to really matter to him. Yet, he takes all this c**p from the Republicans who have shown him nothing but disdain and indignation.
I am not sure if I will vote for him again. I don’t think he deserves my vote. Black people in America catch h**l no matter who we have in office. I think many African Americans who feel like I do will most likely not vote at all. One knows the old addage, When America is sick, Black folk have bilateral pneumonia!!!!!
