Controversial Church Sign: “Ultimate Racism: Abortionists Target Black Babies”

Churches are like marketing companies these days, creating signs to get attention and  new consumers.   Macedonia Baptist Church in South Carolina is the latest church to erect a controversial placard in hopes of getting media attention. The sign board at the church reads: ”Ultimate Racism: Abortionists Target Black Babies.”

“I cannot be silent and just say that’s somebody else’s problem or I’m not dark enough to care about that issue. I can’t do that,” Pastor Patrick Dye said. “This is the crime of America.”

“Planned Parenthood purposely locates in minority communities,” Dye said. “The Planned Parenthood clinic is located at the edge of a white community, but right there within walking distance of the housing project on Forest Drive and Two Notch Road.”

A Planned Parenthood spokesperson challenged Dye’s assertion, noting that the average women who use their services are white women between the ages of 18-24.

Dye hopes that his sign will get people to thinking.

“For those who don’t agree, I hope it would get them to thinking, considering the issue, and being willing to have an open heart and open mind to say, ‘What is it I need to know?” Dye said.

Um, Pastor, if the clinic is at the edge of a white community, then it seems likely that it is also within walking distance of some white folks as well. If we acknowledge rates of abortion as an issue in the black community, then we need to look within ourselves to see how that problem comes about. Planned parenthood is not making young black women get pregnant without the means to provide for themselves and their babies. Planned Parenthood isn’t making young black men – and some not so young – insist that they can’t have s*x using condoms because it doesn’t “feel good.” Indeed, the majority of services provided by Planned Parenthood are targeted against exactly those patterns. Maybe the point is to encourage them to go to Planned Parenthood if they are sexually active before they get pregnant!

What is the author saying is wrong again? There is nothing is wrong with Planned Parenthood and they do not focus only on abortions, but they cater to other areas as well concerning a woman. Everyone wants to protest abortion when they should be protesting why s*x education is not prevalent in homes. Schools are not responsible for this and this is the parents responsibility to enforce s*x education, and the one who should be responsible is the mother. This should not be talked about with fathers present because of the alarming rate of s****l abuse by men in the homes.

Secondly, protesting abortion is an insult to rape and i****t victims.

First of all, not addressing the history and underlying intent to Planned Parenthood is a threat to my people’s existence. Planned Parenthood was started by people with a Eugenics agenda–this is irrefutable. There overall target was aimed at stemming the population of Black People–again another irrefutable fact. I am not a Tea Bagger, conservative or any other right wing nut job. I am a conscious black man. You can guise this argument under defending the right of women, rape victims, blah, blah, blah…but the fact remains that Margaret Sanger, (PPH Founder), believed that certain groups (i.e. Black people) are unfit for breeding. So while you all are ignorantly sustaining and defending genocide under the guise of woman’s rights, I will be defending my people’s right to exist. There are other alternatives to genocidal influenced abortion access, and black people need to explore these options. I’m not saying that acute circumstances might not necessitate a serious act like abortion (i.e. rape), but those circumstances are the outliers of abortions seekers. Planned Parenthood might have some workers whose intentions are good, but even with good intentions; people can cause serious harm if unaware of the agenda they are carrying out. In this way PPH is much like the rest of this God forsaken society, where people blindly support their own collective demise or oppression because there just flat out ignorant of true history and current affairs.

I used to believe in abortion, but not any more. While Black people are busy aborting our children, the Hispanics, and Asians are increasing their populations here, so as to become the majority population, and take over this country. We are always equating Hispanics with our causes, but they don’t do the same with theirs. If you ever have worked with or around Hispanics, you’d know how back stabbing these roaches can be. The anwer to our problems here in the U.S.A. is to populate, populate, populate.
