Congresswoman Maxine Waters Challenges Tea Part to a Fight: “Let’s Get it On”

Most Democrats are fearful of the groundswell which ushered in the Tea Party in 2010, but not Rep. Maxine Waters.

During her speech at the 5th annual House District 7 Unity Dinner, the California Democrat accused Republicans of waging a war on women and attacking Obama at every turn.

“We cannot allow the opportunities that America stands for to be eroded by those who simply want to bring this president down,” she said.

Then she said, “After a good night sleep, I wake up the next day, and I say, ‘Come on, Tea Party, let’s get it on.’”

If every Democrat has Maxine Water’s gumption, then maybe the Democratic Party could get something done.

What is Maxine Waters’ positions on the racist imperialist attack on Libya that murdered thousands of Libyans, the racist economic sanctions and propaganda on Zimbabwe, the invasion of Afrika via Africom, the sanctions on Cuba and the military occupation of Haiti by UN troops in the aftermath of the overthrow Of President Aristide by Bush Jnr and Sarkozy?Incidentally what is her position on the fact that Afrikans in the US still remain the most disadvantaged race (most imprisoned, most sick, most unemployed, most homeless, most mis-educated etc) despite or in spite of Obama the Afrikan-European/mulatto?
