Poll: 30% of Americans Don’t Believe Zimmerman Should be Charged
Has the Trayvon Martin case led to a racial divide in America? The answer is a clear and resounding “yes.” In a recent poll taken by MSNBC, 30% of all Americans do not agree with the decision of Special Prosecutor Angela Corey to charge Zimmerman for the killing of Trayvon Martin. Corey made the decision to skip grand jury proceedings and charge Zimmerman directly.
The charge of second degree murder carries a maximum sentence of life in prison. Zimmerman is now in custody in an undisclosed location.
