CNN Backtracks, Now Says Zimmerman Didn’t Call Trayvon Martin a c**n [Video]

On March 22, CNN reported that George Zimmerman called Trayvon Martin a racial slur on the 911 tape shortly before fatally shooting him, but now, the network is not so sure.

CNN’s Gary Tuchman dissected the audio with the network’s audio specialist and says he’s not sure what Zimmerman said.  ”It sounds like this allegation could be accurate,” Tuchman said. “I wouldn’t swear to it in court. But that’s what it sounds like to me.”

“It certainly sounds like that word to me,” he later added.

Then later, Tuchman, the audio expert and Wolf Blitzer all agreed that the word in question was “cold,” not the racial slur, which makes even less sense, especially in Sanford,Florida.

In the end, this goes to why this case should be tried by a jury, and not bungling “journalists” who sometimes do more harm than good with their ineptitude.
