Romney Criticizes Obama for Slow Jamming the News
The Romney campaign went hard against President Obama this week, attacking him for slow jamming the news with Jimmy Fallon. In a memo released to the public, the Romney camp was clear on why they feel that their man is the best:
This past week previewed the stark contrast facing voters in this election. Governor Romney’s speech Tuesday night in New Hampshire contained a crisp and specific critique of President Obama’s policy failures and his own positive vision for a better America. The speech left the Obama campaign sputtering – with even David Axelrod offering praise. In fifteen minutes, Governor Romney dismantled the myths of “hope and change” with the reality of a failed record that even the President and his campaign are struggling to defend.
President Obama’s stagnant, government-centered economy has depressed growth and the American spirit of natural optimism. At a time when a campaign just emerging from a long primary should be struggling, Governor Romney has rapidly unified support and begun to capture the imagination of the country with his vision of a pro-growth economy that will lift us out of the Obama doldrums. It was a big speech to mark a big win that begins a big debate about big things.
President Obama, on the other hand, spent the week slow-jamming the news, striking a Heisman pose, and trying to pick a fight over student loans to help the one-in-two recent college graduates who are either jobless or underemployed as a result of his policies (which is apparently really funny stuff to the President). Unfortunately for him, Republicans agree with the need for a temporary extension, but want it paid for by cutting spending rather than raising taxes. So instead of the fight he was hoping for, he got a debate over taxes and spending – which he wasn’t hoping for.

Interestingly enough, there are no post on this topic, why not? At a time when we need to have a voice that propogates through the lurking waters of death and destruction of a Democratic America we find pause to reflect or to administer intellect, intelligence nor wisdom. As our President, President Barack Obama reaches out to the masses of Americans, those impoverished, those being impoverished and those that impoverish, to bring about a consensus of universal and communal support, one is left to demonize and thwart his efforts with rhetoric concerning his ambigiuos and shallow efforts to restore America’s promise and the vehicles that have allowed America to move to the forefront of global society in education, workforce strength, productivity, prosperity and health. President Obama’s agenda has convincingly and consistently been helping all Americans to afford and sustain an honorable and pleasant lifestyle and livelihood; describe how you must, that is adequate and measurable. He has suggested policy to curb interest rates that strip away educational prowess, home ownership, entrepreneurs, self-reliance, social responsibility and community support and involvment. These same policies work towards educating, empowering and insuring a brighter and more fulfilling tomorrow. In policy, we need to become advocates of change, speaking our minds and hearts, then voting as more informed constituents and be reflective of how we have been brought to this place of raft and tears. These are the issues that govern us, let us be proactive in responding to issues that affect our outcomes and ability to create and support our families. When advesaries speak against policy and legislation that is for the greater good for the lesser power we need to be strong voices in that court. The court of public opinion is what it is public opinion, but it does count in the court of public persuasion aka the voting booth. Find a better battle to fight and a better war to win. Those fruitless arguements are detractors and distractors of the real fight against social and economic injustice.
