After Mending Fences With Oprah, Iyanla Vanzant Gets Her ‘OWN’ Show

All fans of the Oprah Winfrey Show remember Iyana Vanzant from back in the day. Her sister-friendly and straightforward advice was all the rage back then, and Oprah’s platform helped to make Vanzant a best-selling author.

And now that Vanzant and Winfrey have publicly rebuilt their relationship, Vanzant is headed to OWN for a show titled, “Iyanla Fix My Life.” On the show, Vanzant will offer tips and motivational tips to help women fix what’s wrong in their lives.

Vanzant says of her show,  ”I am so humbled and grateful to have this opportunity to do what I love; on a network that gives me the freedom to be myself; working with people who value what I bring to the table; offering to the people I love (that would be you) a consistent dose of something I believe will facilitate and support the personal growth and spiritual evolution of individuals, families and communities.”

If Vanzant can rekindle the magic from her early years with Oprah, then OWN may be in for a ratings success.

Wow, thanks for this blog I didn’t know that Iyanla was getting a second chance with Oprah. I hope she has learned to listen to good and sound advice this time around. I love OWN and thanks.

I do not know how I started getting your blogs, but I plan on keeping up with them. You’re refreshing.

I saw the show, only I didn’t know there was a fence that needed mending between Iyanla & Oprah. Her (Iyanla) advice was good then & now…she just needed to apply it to her life as well. That’s the only fence to mend.
