In 2008, first-time voters shocked the nation as they waited patiently in line, literally for hours upon hours, to cast their vote in a Presidential election that would go down in the history books. It was young people — and people of color especially — who propelled Barack Obama into office by their sheer numbers.

Black people are marching because that’s all we know how to do. We know d**n well that marching is not going to raise 1 brow in 2012 but we keep doing it out of “tradition”. Have you heard or seen anything pertaining to this march in the media? Maybe a mustard seed. We still waiting on white Jesus to come & save us from his very own white people.
You are absolutely correct, Knowledgesupreme Mind about when our men & boys get shot down like dogs; black folks holler, scream, cry & march for a very short time, then wait until the next brotha is murdered. BUT NOTHING EVER CHANGES, NO ONE IS HELD ACCOUNTABLE AND IT IS PERFECTLY OK (and actually rewarded) TO KILL BLACKS IN AMERICA!!! The only time this will change is when we start shooting back, DEFEND OURSELVES. Stop wasting bullets on another brotha who has less than you and killing the MFs who are slaughtering your community. I dont’ know 1 parent in the world who would tell their child, if they were being bullied, “now if he/she slaps you, you just turn your face so he can slap the other cheek” Yet we continue to let whites slaughter us and wait patiently on Jesus to take revenge. We would not advise our child of such garbage but we base our entire religion on non-violence. Christion religion was created as a tool of oppression to keep slaves in line, inferior and afraid. “Thou shall not kill”, but the very ones claiming to be Christians and killing us all day every day. WAKE UP!!
We need to stop begging Jim Crow for justice that will only be promised but NEVER delivered. We black folks are totally ( I can’t even think of a word to describe this mentality) to keep accepting this s**t for as long as we have and thinking that we will 1 day have rights. America has NEVER accepted us, the real reason we are labeled African-Americans, no other race goes by hyphenated name. It sounds very much like “Half-American” We were stolen & brought to this country for 1 reason only, to provide FREE LABOR and when that changed (althought it hasn’;t really changed b/c the most of us that have JOB (Journey Of the Broke) are not paid a living wage AND when we were tricked into “believing” that we are free and marched for a few crumbs of civil rights, America waged war on us and that war is still alive and well today.
When another of ours gets gunned down by them, instead of marching, let’s start bucking holes in this b***h & taking out their entire families and I am 100% sure that this action WILL raise more than 1 brow. However, if we can’t, don’t or won’t get a Voter ID, we surely won’t be going to get a gun permit. The only civil right we have in AmeriKKKa, is to work like slaves to keep massa living well and stepping in our throats. In our own language, Brothas & Sistahs…WE BETTER RECOGNIZE & ORGANIZE!!!
